Abramovic Tells Conte To Stop Complaining Else He Will Not BE COACH Again

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic is considering keeping faith with the under fire coach, Antonio Conte, if he stops moaning about transfers.

The Russian billionaire is ready to let Conte remain coach as long as he curbs complaining about transfers. Conte’s nagging over the club not spending like Manchester City and his consistent negative attitude in public has become increasingly worrisome for the club’s top brass.

A Stamford Bridge insider revealed:

“Roman is not so trigger happy these days when it comes to firing managers. “Champions League football is important but not a deal breaker. “These days Roman wants to give his managers every opportunity. “The stress point could be if Antonio starts complaining again. “People are growing weary of it all.”

Abramovich has bankrolled Conte with a net spend of £180m since he arrived in the summer of 2016. Conte side has lost two league matches in a row to the two Manchester sides and have dropped the Blues to fifth, five points behind Tottenham. The Blues face an uphill battle to stay in the Champions League with a tough round of 16 second leg tie in Barcelona next Wednesday at Nou Camp.

Chelsea will playing a reverse fixture against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, a team they lost to in the first half of the season before making a trip to face Barcelona.
