DANIEL JAMES will earn a staggering SIXTEEN times more than his Swansea salary when he completes his £18million Manchester United move

.

Daniel James is seemingly closing in on an £18 million move to Manchester United, with one outing for Swansea in which he caused “carnage” considered to have picked the Red Devils’ interest.

A switch to Old Trafford for the 21-year-old winger has been in the pipeline for some time.

According to the Mail, the winger, 21, is set to sign a deal worth up to £67,000 per week, including bonuses, at Old Trafford in the coming days, a massive increase from the £4,000 a week he currently takes home.

It’s understood that Giggs gave a glowing reference of James, and said he had ‘no doubt’ about the winger’s quality.

James had a medical at United’s training ground on Thursday and is now on the verge of finalizing his £18 million move to Old Trafford.

Swansea had initially wanted £30m for James, while United was hoping to complete a deal for £10m after Leeds United came close to signing the midfielder in the January transfer window.

Giggs added: “He’s just a threat, he will be with that pace but he’s got much more. He can go either side, he’s intelligent, he works hard, a great lad.”

After completing his medical, James linked back up with Wales’ squad ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifier against Croatia on Saturday.
