Untitled Han Solo Movie Has A New Title: Check It Out

Hey you lovers of Movies, The Untitled Han solo movie has now been given a title which was disclosed by Ron Howard the Producer of the movie via Twitter.

Howard took over the project back in June when Lucasfilm fired then directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Since then, Howard has been working almost non-stop, as he shows regularly on his social media accounts, revealing all kinds of cool little tidbits about the movie.

All the while, though, he was referring to the film as the “Untitled Han Solo movie.” Well, Tuesday, with production now apparently finished, he revealed the real title: Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Which, of course, is probably the most obvious title anyone could come up with. That doesn’t make it bad, it just raises questions of why it took so long to reveal. We don’t know that yet but we do know that Lucasfilm is sticking with the “A Star Wars Story” subtitle started on Rogue One, which was not mentioned in the film and then only tangentially referred to on marketing materials and merchandise. Again, that’s not a big deal or a big surprise, but it’s curious.

Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as the infamous smuggler, along with an insane cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

And, despite the delays in production, Solo is still scheduled to be released May 25, 2018. Which means we’re very likely to see a first trailer by the end of the year.
