Renowned Nigerian film producer, Kunle Afolayan, is filled with joy as Anikulapo wins best overall film at the 2023 AMAA Awards. The African Movie Academy Awards, AMAA, ceremony, which was hosted by Nancy Isime, Rahama Sadau, and Richard Ato Turkson, took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday.

Anikulapo, which Kunle Afolayan produced and directed, was also awarded best achievement in production design. The filmmaker dedicated this honour to the late Pat Nebo. The 49-year-old congratulated all the nominees and winners in an Instagram post on Monday, expressing his gratitude and his sense of pride.
