A Nigerian man identified as Mazi Ejimofor Opara has shared an app allegedly used by students to inflate their JAMB scores. In a post on his page, Opara revealed that the app is available on Playstore and that he was able to create his own 2023 JAMB result using it. He wrote; “I have found the App
It’s on Playstore… I just created my own 2023 JAMB result. Things dey happen.” The post has since gone viral, with many netizens taking to the comments section to express their shock and disbelief, while some used the App to create their scores too. It is however not confirmed that Ejikeme Joy, the Anambra student that was called out by Jamb used the App to inflate her result. Chijioke Paul Okeifufe said: “Before una go download the app, make una see Endurance Keyamo 2025 result. Na original from JAMB.” Afoma Victoria Obiedo Okwuka said: “Stop supporting evul Biko.” Gej Mgbenka Ifeanyi OkijaAmaka commented: “This is not even the problem. A loan app operating in Nigeria is charged with allegedly accusing a young man of raping and killing a minor over N14K debt. A Twitter user identified as @jennipheruwa took to the platform to express surprise after a friend of hers was labelled a rapist and killer for not fulfilling his debt to the loan shark.

He was declared dead on the operating table at San Francisco General Hospital after battling for his life for 4 hours. The autopsy from the San Fransico Medical Examiner revealed that Bob Lee had a mixture of drugs and alcohol in his system when he was stabbed. “The alcohol was equivalent to the amount of beer and the ketamine could have been given as anesthesia in the hospital”, the chief medical examiner, Dr. Kendell Von Crowns said in the statement.

Police in San Francisco have made an arrest of a tech executive for the stabbing murder of Cash App founder, Bob Lee.

The 43-year-old father of two was stabbed at about 2:30 a.m. on the 4th of April neighborhood of Rincon Hill and Lee allegedly knew his killer, Mission Local reported. Police are yet to confirm the identity of the suspect, according to Mission Local he is a fellow tech executive who lives in the Bay Area. It is unclear if the man attended the same tech conference Lee was in town for, but the pair were seen in a car together at around 2.30 am, moments before the stabbing. Apparently, there was a confrontation that led to the attack. This is according to police sources.

The tech mogul, who formerly served as the chief technology officer of Square, was attacked in the city’s downtown Rincon Hill neighborhood at 2:35 a.m., on Tuesday morning, April 5, according to San Francisco police. Officers arrived at the scene to find a 43-year-old man, later confirmed to be Lee by CBS News, with multiple stab wounds. Bob was taken to a nearby hospital before he succumbed to his injuries, police told the outlet. No arrest has been made as of early Wednesday. San Francisco police have not released any suspect details, the outlet adds.

A human rights activist by the name Ahmed Isa has recounted how a man became mentally deranged after he failed to pay back the money he took from a loan app.

According to the activist, a man had taken a loan of 56,000 naira from a popular loan app and was paying back in installments until he became broke. Since he was unable to pay, the loan sharks began hounding him for the money and took the drastic action of sending defamatory messages to his contacts alleging that he’s a thief and fraudster. Mr Ahmed Isa, the narrator, revealed that the man had his prospective employer (having recently gone for a job interview) on his contact and the message was also sent to him. His future father-in-law whose daughter he had sought for marriage blocked his number after the defamatory message was also sent to him. Ahmed Isa warned people against taking money from loan sharks because there are usually hidden repercussions which borrowers know nothing about. Watch the video below:
