Nigerian man picks Nigeria over England for barber profession

Nigerian Barber England Profession

During an exclusive conversation, a Nigerian barber shared his reasons for choosing to remain and practice his profession in Nigeria rather than pursuing a career in England. When asked about his contentment with living and earning as a barber in Nigeria, he explained that there were numerous factors influencing his decision, with one significant aspect being the stark contrast in the cost of living between England and Nigeria.

Furthermore, he expressed his deep passion for his work. However, he emphasized that even if he were offered 20 Euros in England, he would still prefer earning 3,000 or 5,000 Naira in Nigeria. His rationale was that by working in Nigeria, he could take home a more reasonable amount of income at the end of each month, whereas in England, a substantial portion of his earnings would be consumed by high expenses such as shop rent and other necessary work-related costs. He further elaborated on the additional financial burdens he would face in England, including the need to pay for housing and various bills. Ultimately, he concluded that the manageable expenses in Nigeria made it a more favorable option for him to live and work as a barber compared to the potential challenges he would encounter in England. The only goal of the game came in very scrappy circumstances at the very end of the first half. In the 49th minute, Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones was credited with turning in a free-kick that had been floated into the box. Seven yellow cards were handed out, and England coaching staff member Ashley Cole was sent off after England scored following a brawl that broke out on the side of the pitch. There were opportunities for Spain to get back into the game, with Abel Ruiz looking like a real danger at many opportunities. The likes of Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Gordon were very important for England throughout the match.

However, James Trafford, who is set to join Burnley from Manchester City in a deal that could be worth up to £19m, kept out Abel Ruiz’s low spot-kick in the 99th minute. The 20-year-old then produced another brilliant stop on the follow-up before being mobbed by his team-mates. The win meant Lee Carsley’s talented side are the third England team to win a Euro U21 Championship title. They picked up the trophy in 1982 and 1984. They are also the first team to record six successive clean sheets in the tournament’s history.
