Ex Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex Unusual has extensively blasted Nigerian celebrities who are supporting APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The reality star took to her Instagram page to rant over alleged rigging being carried out by the All Progressive Congress and some celebrities who still support them despite their blatant corrupt practices.

According to her, these celebrities have sold their souls because they know that they’d gain something if the APC candidate emerges president. She described these celebrities as the agents of darkness and adding that they’d never come across joy in their lives.

Mr Ezea, the Labour Party candidate, polled a total of 104,492 votes to defeat Mr Ugwuanyi of the PDP, who came second with 46,948 votes. The All Progressives Congress candidate for the district, Ejike Eze, garnered 6,816 votes to come a distant third.

LP national chairman, Julius Abure who decried the violence meted out on Labour Party supporters at a press briefing in Abuja, called for the cancellation of election results in states across the country which he claimed were “manufactured”. Abure also asked President Muhammadu Buhari to keep his word of ensuring the 2023 elections are free fair and credible.

APC Abdullahi Adamu loses senatorial seat to SDP

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu has lost his seat in Nasarawa Western Zone to an SDP candidate.

According to reports, Adamu lost his seat to Ahmed Wadada of the Social Democratic Party in the National Assembly elections held on Saturday. The INEC returning agent for Nasawara Baba while declaring the winner said Ahmed Wadada of SDP pulled 98,488 votes while Adamu of the APC also pulled 47,717 votes. Also, the PDP candidate also pulled 46,820 while the Labour party pulled 33,228. Aside from the seat lost in the Nasarawa West, the APC also lost the Keffi/Kokona/Karu seat to the SDP with Gaza Gwefwi retaining his seat. SDP pulled 60,265 votes, the APC also pulled 28,417 votes, the LP, 29655, and the PDP 33,180 for the house of representatives elections.

Labour Party’s Attah polled 24,075 votes, beating his counterparts, Olubankole Wellington (Banky W) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had 18,666 votes, and Babajide Obanikoro of the APC, who had 16, 901 votes. Babajide, who is a son of former Minister of Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, is the current lawmaker representing the constituency.

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has secured a win in President Muhammadu Buhari’s state, Katsina.

Atiku got a total of 489,045 to defeat APC which secured 482,283 votes. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP’s candidate, emerged third with 69,386, followed by Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi who received 6,376 votes. At the INEC Presidential Election Collation Center in Katsina, Professor Muazu Abubakar Gusau, the state’s returning officer and vice chancellor of the Federal University Gusau, proclaimed Atiku the winner of the election. 3,516,719 people were enrolled to vote in the state as a whole, but only 1,097,663 of those people had been accredited to vote.

Nigerian politician Femi Fani-Kayode has issued a warning to the spokesperson of the PDP, Dino Melaye over his comment on INEC.

There are tensions in the air over the undeclared results of elections by INEC. A lot of people have expressed their agitation and worry over the undeclared election results. Dino Melaye, one of the spokespersons for PDP took to his Facebook page to warn INEC of any possible rigging of the elections. According to Dino, most people are ready to die for the country if the election results are compromised by INEC. He wrote, “INEC should avoid creating war. The people’s choice and authentic results must be announced. If security agencies or INEC compromise this election, we are ready to die this time around. No manual competition! No compromise. SDM”.

Firing back at Dino Melaye, Femi Fani-Kayode has warned Dino not to start what he cannot end. He further asked Dino to cease fire and accept defeat. “INEC has done no wrong. Those that are threatening fire because they lost must reign in their tongues, accept defeat & stop their threats. “Do not set Nigeria on fire, do not provoke us, do not ignite a war & do not start something you cannot finish. WE WILL DEFEND OUR MANDATE”.

Popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, comes under fire as her colleagues, Lizzy Gold and Destiny Etiko lambast her for posting Tinubu’s swearing-in fabric.

This comes amidst the results collation of the ongoing 2023 presidential election to determine the winner between Labour Party’s Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar (PDP), and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC. Eniola Badmus who is a loyal member of the All Progressive Congress party APC had taken to Instagram to share a swearing-in fabric with the logo of Tinubu. The post which proved rather insensitive to her colleagues triggered a reaction from some of them including Destiny Etiko and Lizzy Gold. Reacting, Lizzy wrote, “Eniola you are very stupid you making Kampala for swearing in …useless human being.. people who don’t care about the progress of Nigeria..fool…”
