History was made amongst saxophonist in the world, as Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti broke Kenny G’s record for the longest single note played on a saxophone.
He broke this record on Sunday 7th May, 2017 at the African Shrine , Agidingbi, Lagos, by playing the saxophone for 46mins 38secs, beating Kenny G’s 45mins 37 secs record.

It was reported that dignitaries were present during the event, and Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce, the deputy high commissioners of Netherlands and The United Kingdom was included.
