Oladimeji Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, has broken his silence over claims made by Wunmi that he demanded Liam’s placenta after he was born. The late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi Aloba, previously disclosed the reasons behind her separation from her father-in-law. Omowunmi stated in her testimony at the Lagos Coroner Inquest on Tuesday that she and her father-in-law fell out after Liam was born. She continued by saying that the reason their relationship was strained was her refusal to give him the placenta of her son Liam.

In response to Wunmi’s accusations, Mohbad’s father posted on social media. “God please have mercy on me. They said I asked for the placenta of my own grandson. Doesn’t the son belong to the father? I don’t know what they said I did that they keep talking about me everywhere? May Adabi judge between us.”
