The 2016 AFRIFF Globe Awards held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The 2016 AFRIFF awards recognized the handwork of the industry in the cause of the event and Ramsey Noah won the “Best Male Lead” for the movie “76” among other actors and directors like Akin Omotoso who won the “Special Jury Prize” award for the movie “Vaya”.
The award ceremony kicked off its sixth year cinematic celebration with Nate Parker’s “Birth Of A Nation” and ended the festival with Izu Ojukwu’s “76”.
