The new president, del Nido Carrasco, is also no stranger to the club, having previously acted as de facto president, according to Football Espana. His official appointment is significant to Sevilla’s history, as he becomes the second member of his family to hold the prestigious position at the club, following in the footsteps of Jose Maria del Nido Benavente (2002-2013).
