Show host, Frank Edoho. Photo source: Google. Renowned show host, Frank Edoho speaks on how he deals with social media trolls as he asserts that blocking is an act of cowardice. Frank stated this while speaking in the Bants and Boujee podcast with Tolanibaj and Moet Abebe as anchors.

He stated that he doesn’t block people who troll him, but finds a way to incapacitate them forever. Frank said that what he usually does is look for the more outspoken ‏of the trolls, the one he considers to be the ringleader. He then ensures that he deals appropriately with that one, and when the leader is deal with, others usually hesitate to continue in the same path. Husband butchers wife and lover after catching them in the act

An angry husband has butchered his wife and her lover with a machete after he caught them in the act in his bed. The man identified as Joly Tjang handed himself over to the military after killing his wife and her alleged lover in Cameroon.

The young man who is said to have caught his wife and his alleged lover together is a popular driver on the Maka-Yaounde road. He drove to the Eseka Gendarmerie Brigade and surrendered himself to the officers on duty. He confessed to having killed his wife and lover and dumped their corpse by the roadside. Authorities are currently investigating the matter.

“Mr Yakubu, you act like a fraudster” — Falz, Vector diss INEC chairman, others in new song

Famous singers, Falz and Vector releases a new song titled “Mr. Yakubu” in which they ridiculed Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The lyrics of the song suggest that the INEC chairman engaged in fraudulent activities during the recently concluded general election. Falz alongside Vector also included some of the excuses given by INEC for the delay in uploading the presidential results on its portal on February 25. The music video also portrays some irregularities committed by security operatives during the election, as well as the shooting of youths during the #EndSARS protest in 2020.

Nollywood actor Dave Ogbeni has claimed that not all female actresses in the movie industry came to act but some came to do prostitution. The actor, Dave Ogbeni took to his Instagram page to lament over how some of his friends and some politicians have branded all female actresses as prostitutes. However, Dave Ogbeni has told his friends to demarcate and distinguish between actresses who came into the movie industry to show their actions to those who only joined the industry to sell their bodies. “There should be a clear-cut demarcation between Nollywood actresses and Nollywood prostitutes. No be every girl come for the craft, many came for the (indirect) cash”, he wrote on his page.

Yemi’s management reacts to troll cursing Ebuka, condemns act

The management of Big Brother Titans housemate, Yemi Cregx has condemned and apologized to host Ebuka over a clash with a ‘Yemi fan’.

Earlier this morning a screenshot went viral where a fan of Yemi was cursing the family of BBNaija host, Ebuka for “shaking Yemi’s tables” during the Sunday eviction. However, the wife o Ebuka who was triggered by the comment of the troll lambasted the troll and cursed him back. Amidst the viral ongoing clash, the management of Yemi has come out to condemn the act of Yemi’s fan; adding that Ebuka was doing his job as a host. Actress Ireti Doyle who recently confirmed that she’s now divorced from veteran actor and broadcaster, Patrick Doyle, has explained why she decided to focus on money after a few years into acting. In tweets Ireti shared, she disclosed all she wanted to do at first was to act and to be seen. However, it dawned on her that her career was supposed to bring her fortune, and this turned her focus to money. She added that this made her selective and also informed how she moved. Ireti further revealed that after she went viral for the first time and it got several interpretations including those that were totally off the mark, she understood that with “fame & fortune” comes a certain level of responsibility which should guide the way one move.

Ireti tweeted; “In the beginning, all I wanted to do was act; to perform and be seen. It was about 5 yrs in that it struck me, omo, this “work of my hands” was supposed to bring me fortune. Then I began to focus on the money, and that’s where strategy began. “I became selective and it informed how I moved. I think it was another 5 years in, a bit of fame & fortune had found me. I can’t remember what the public post was about now, but that’s when I experienced “going viral” for the 1st time. “Oh, the different interpretations – many of them totally off the mark. Popular Afrobeat singer, Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems, bags the Best International Act at the BET Awards 2022.
The annual award event was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate Black excellence in music, culture, and sports.

Other nominees for the awards include Fireboy, Dave from the UK, Dinos from France, Fally Ipupa from Congo, Little Simz from the UK, Ludmilla from Brazil, Major League Djz from South Africa, and Tayc from France.
While receiving the award, Tems gave a motivational remark to women worldwide on the need to reach for the stars.

“Thank you so much for this, thank you so much. It’s an honour… I mean, this is my first award show that I’m winning something and I just want to use this as an opportunity to speak to every single young, old, whatever, every single woman watching this, every single girl watching this at home. Where I’m from, things like this don’t happen,” she wrote.
