In light of Nollywood star Zack Orji‘s pitiful condition, an old terrifying prophecy about the actor has been unearthed. In the video, the prophet, who is known for his unusual revelations during interviews, warns the actor to be wary of the impending catastrophes. He declared that evil forces were plotting to bring him down with disease and shame. The prophet identified Zack Orji as a popular Nollywood figure who frequently appears in money ritual films, advising him to take cautious measures in light of the ominous portent that was about to strike him.

Nigerian actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong, reveals the reason more male actors come online to seek financial aid compared to the women in the industry. He explains this in an episode of the Bad and Boujee podcast with hosts, TolaniBaj and Moet Abebe. The actor was asked why more male actors are coming out to request crowdfunding for sickness amongst other pressing issues. The actor believes this is owing to the patriarchal society in Nigeria which leaves women as men’s responsibility and as such men cannot stand by and do nothing when a woman is facing a challenge. Using himself as an example, he explained that if he finished a job and got paid, his first thought is to take care of his family and sustain the home and settle outstanding bills. However for some women, once they get paid, the money is for themselves alone to enjoy and spend, which helps them in saving more. He also narrates how women are beautiful creatures which leaves them open to receiving gifts and other financial rewards from men who find their beauty alluring. Men on the other hand are left to provide for themselves all the times so when they reach a breaking point, they reach out to the public for help instead. Tensions within Mr Ibu‘s family appear to be escalating, as the ailing actor’s wife, Stella Maris, allegedly arrests her husband’s adopted daughter, Jasmine, and his sons. This comes following the public saga amongst the family after Stella Maris accused her husband’s adopted daughter of trying to sabotage her marriage.

She claimed that Mr Ibu’s wife orchestrated the arrest, accusing Jasmine of transferring 300 million donation money from the actor’s account. It is worth noting that Mrs Stella Maris allegedly planned to use the funds contributed for her husband’s treatment to purchase a new smartphone and a house for herself. However, investigations indicate that the contributed amount did not reach 300 million. The text reads; “Jasmine and Ibu’s sons were arrested at Alagbon Police Station. They are detained there. Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments. That’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed isn’t even up to 300 million”.

Why we don’t help some sick actors – TAMPAN president, Mr Latin

The President of TAMPAN (Theatre Arts and Movies Production Association of Nigeria), Bolaji Amusan also known as Mr Latin reveals why the group does not make provisions to help sick and struggling actors in the movie industry. Despite having spent over N10 million on health-related matters affecting actors, Mr Latin has claimed that TAMPAN is always willing to assist. During a recent interview on 32FM in Ibadan, he clarified that the association cannot support certain sick and struggling members because they are not members or are inactive. Mr. Latin clarified that these actors, who are ill, frequently avoid seeking help from TAMPAN out of embarrassment and instead turn to the internet, radio, or television for assistance since they realize they were not active members. As a result, the group is unable to offer them help. “We always come to the aid of all active members. Since I became the TAMPAN President, we have spent more than N10 million on the actors’ health challenges. “The ones you see going on radio or TV to beg for money are not active members of the association,” he said.
