A Nigerian man speaks on how single ladies of marriageable age are discouraging their potential suitors from approaching them by living an expensive lifestyle. The man known as Prince Anayo Nwosu, holding the traditional title of Ikenga Ezenwegbu in Nnewi, Anambra State, stated that most ladies are now unintentionally chasing away men that might want to approach them.
Prince Anayo Nwosu. He advised mother’s to encourage their daughters to learn to lead a modest life so as not to inadvertently chase away their suitors. His words … “Mothers of Anambra ladies of marriageable age, advise your daughters to dress less expensively and to be moderate in lifestyle to attract responsible Anambra husbands. Anambra suitors check a lot things including maintenance costs. Dear young lady, what do you think goes on in the mind of a prospective suitor when you always look very expensive, drive expensive cars and live alone in an expensive neighbourhood and in a lush and expensively furnished apartment ? A good girl of marriageable age may have been pricing herself out of the market by always “dressing to kill’, riding in the best of cars and living alone in a tastefully furnished apartment in a world where suitors and their mums feel “somehow’ towards such ladies.”
Tenant in shock after landlord passed toilet pipes from two other apartments through his apartment… Source : Twitter Twitter user who shared the story online said his friend rented an apartment at Akerele estate in Oworonsoki in March this year. According to him, the landlord asked that he leaves the key to his apartment behind for some plumbing work to be done in the building. The tenant said he was shocked to return to see that two pipes from the toilets of two other apartments were passed through his apartment. The pipes were not even hidden inside the building, but were constructed in such a way that anyone could see it. The distraught man said he needs justice as the shoddy job done in his apartment will cause him so much trauma if he continues to reside in the house.
