Veteran actor Emeka Ike has finally opened up on how his marriage crashed and how his ex-wife made him lose all his properties. Recall that the ex-wife of 12 years and mother of Emeka’s four children, Emma filed for divorce at a Lagos court with her major reason for wanting to quit the marriage was constant beating by the husband. During an interview on Channel Television, Emeka Ike disclosed how his ex-wife accused him falsely of assaulting her making him lose access to his children. He narrated how he came back from the US and discovered that the multi-million school he built was closed down by his ex-wife.

Nigerian singer, Lil Frosh has slammed actor, Yhemolee‘s lawsuit with another lawsuit, demanding N500m in damages over alleged assault. It all started after Lil Frosh took to his Instagram story to assert that he recently had an encounter with Yhemolee, who slapped him at a recent event.

Former Barcelona and Brazilian star Dani Alves is set to face trial for alleged sexual assault, after a ruling by a court judge. The 40-year-old footballer was accused of rape in January for an incident that allegedly happened on December 30, 2022, in Barcelona, Spain. Alves has been in police custody since January, with the Barcelona court denying him bail. The presiding judge has given Alves’ lawyers five days to present their arguments for the trial, which must convince the judge of his innocence or face the appropriate penalty.

If convicted, Alves could face imprisonment for up to 12 years, depending on the weight of the court proceedings. Additionally, the jury might impose a fine of €150,000 based on the trial’s outcome. Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti, the son of legendary musician Fela Kuti, was arrested and handcuffed on Monday after his visit to Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa. Seun Kuti had honored his commitment to cooperate with the police by voluntarily turning himself in today.

Accompanied by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, Seun Kuti went to meet the police commissioner. However, upon arrival, he was immediately arrested and handcuffed by the police and subsequently taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department at Panti for interrogation.

The arrest of Seun Kuti was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the state police command, who tweeted; “SERIOUS ASSAULT ON POLICE OFFICER: SEUN KUTI TURNS SELF IN. Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, in the early hours of today turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, in the company of his lawyer and family representative. He has been placed under arrest in line with the law.” The arrest came after a video surfaced online showing Seun Kuti involved in a heated argument with a police officer who was stationed in the middle of a busy road. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, had ordered Seun Kuti’s arrest and instructed for a thorough investigation into the assault. In response to the incident, Seun Kuti took to his Instagram Story and stated that the officer had attempted to harm him and his family. However, he revealed that the policeman had apologized, and he had decided not to press charges. Seun Kuti further expressed his willingness to cooperate fully with the police to uncover the truth and called for a fair investigation. A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a police officer assaulted some passengers of a bus in broad daylight. According to the narration of a passenger, the men of the police took one of them to the ATM to empty his bank account. Following their return, another was assaulted for rebelling against an officer who pointed a gun at him. The policemen reportedly threatened to shoot sporadically if provoked by the passengers. Lady admits to assault on police officer, witnesses murder

One Ijeoma takes to her heels after admitting to assaulting a police officer and also witnessed the murder of an alleged thug in the Ago palace area of Lagos State.

A Twitter user identified as @Ijeoma__x had taken to the platform to share a video of an assault on an individual who was unconscious on the floor. The incident took place at Star Times Estate, Ago palace, Okota. Ijeoma claimed that the thug made it through her estate gate with the intention of disrupting the gubernatorial elections. She further added that she personally assaulted a police officer who refused to interfere.

In her words, “Happening Now in my estate. One thug shot dead. More to come. Kudos to the men and women in my estate for standing their ground. personally beat a police woman. #situationrepo, Ago palace way.”

The lady has, however, deactivated her social media account following the claims and the reactions that trailed her confession to assault and murder witness.
