Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus fell back from her seat against a wall and received some injuries but was not hospitalized, according to courthouse officials. According to officials and witnesses, a courtroom marshal was also hurt while assisting the judge and was hospitalized for treatment of a bleeding gash on his forehead and a dislocated shoulder. Rapper Falz has recounted how he was attacked together with his friends by armed robbers, which almost cost him his life. Falz made this revelation during an interview with “Untapped,” where he stated that he and two of his friends were involved in the November 16, 2013, incident on an Abuja highway, which resulted in the death of their driver. The rapper recalled the incident and said that he and his friends started saying their final prayers because they felt like they were going to die too. The incident happened as they were traveling to an Abuja wedding where Falz was scheduled to perform for payment.

They were going to travel by plane, but since they had not purchased their tickets in time, a friend of his named Sule suggested they travel by road, which is what they ultimately did. However, one of his friends expressed disapproval of them taking the road and asked the rapper to pray before they continued, erasing the thought because it was during the day. He and his friends talked to the driver about his driving style and he promised to make changes, so they fell asleep while driving. A loud bang woke them up, and they saw a man holding a gun in the middle of the road; it appeared he had fired three shots at their car three times, with the third round hitting their driver in the eye.
Describing the situation, Falz said: “We see this turban tying, AK47 welding, dangerous-looking men in the middle of the expressway maybe like 5, we could not count; they were directly shooting at our car everything was happening within seconds, so fast from the first bullet coming to us waking up, the second bullet coming to us taking cover, to the third one that hit the driver in the eye.”

A Veterinary doctor has shared the risk that accompanies his profession after bulldog nearly attacked him. In the video, the Vet doctor can be seen injecting the animal. The bulldog starts becoming aggressive after the first injection is administered and the veterinary doctor even tells the dog sorry as soon as he was done. However, it will seem like his pleas fell on deaf ears as the dog immediately removed himself from the chain binding him to attack the doctor. Popular Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpotha has again been attacked by political thugs while attempting to exercise her electoral franchise.

The Nollywood thespian who had once been attacked during the presidential election took to her Instagram page to raise alarm about the threat on her life. She revealed that she had arrived her polling unit and had brought out her phone to cover the goings-on when some thugs came at her with knives and bottles. Chioma Akpotha quickly fled the scene by jumping into her car with others; however, their cars beared the brunt of their frustration as they vandalized some parts of it. Recounting the incident, she said: “Today is just the worse I couldn’t even being out my phone to record or to say I am at my polling unit. As I brought out my phone, this guy’s attacked me with knives and bottles, I had to run out. They destroyed my side mirrors, hit my car. Labour Party supporters attacked, many severely injured in Lagos (Video)

Multiple supporters of the Labour Party were attacked by hoodlums on their way to Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) for the party’s rally in Lagos.

It was earlier reported that tweeps had suspected an unusual activity on the Third Mainland Bridge where a faulty bus was allegedly planted to affect traffic and dissuade people from turning out for the event.

A video uploaded by Channels TV on Twitter has shown that supporters who had gone for the rally – which Peter Obi had appeared at – were attacked while making their way to TBS where the rally held.

Some victims had been attacked by machete welding ruffians, and they could be seen receiving medical treatment from health personnel on the scene. The executive Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has stated that those carrying out attacks such as the one on St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in the state are foreigners from Mali trained in Libya.

The Governor while condemning the attack assured that the perpetrators will be arrested soon.
The unknown armed men had stirred unrest and panic on Sunday morning, 5th June after they stormed the church during service and sporadically shot worshipers with their sophisticated weapons.
The Governor, who has departed Abuja for the state, urged residents to keep calm and not take the laws into their hands.
He said:
“What happened here is too tragic. It is the most tragic event. What is happening in America is a child’s play to what has happened here.
“To say the least, it is condemnable. I’m grieved. Let me let you know that we have a duty to protect you.
“Security services also lost about two men. The attack was sudden. How they carried out the attack and entered the church cannot be explained.
“No one thought that such incident could happen in Ondo State not to talk of People.
“Let us not retaliate because we will apprehend them. Don’t take laws into your hands. I want to express my condolences to the families of the victims.
“Security agencies in the state must take all steps necessary because this must not repeat itself.
“On our own part, we must be vigilant. We take responsibility for what has happened.
“Most of those that are carrying out this attacks are foreigners from Mali who were trained in Libya.”
