Bimbo Ademoye was considered a strong contender for the category, thanks to her leading role in “Anikulapo.” However, it was Osas Ighodaro who ultimately won the award for her performance in “Man of God,” another Netflix project.

Sabinus won the African Content Creator Award at the Rwanda International Movie Awards which held in Kigali. The talented skit maker took to his Instagram page to share photos of him holding the vaunted award which he had won at the event.

This makes it the second major award he has won: he had bagged the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award last year, 2022. Expressing gratitude, he wrote: “Thanks Guys For The Support And Love !!! Won African Content Creator Award At The Rwanda International Movie Awards 2023”

Famous singer, Tems, loses the Best Original Song award at the prestigious 2023 Oscars event which marks the first nomination in the history of the Nigerian entertainment industry. 2023 Oscars: Tems loses Best Original Song award Earlier this year, the international sensation made history by being the first Nigerian artist to receive an Oscar nomination. However, at the 95th edition of the Oscars Academy Awards, Tems was unable to secure a win. She was nominated for her work as a songwriter on ‘Lift Me Up,’ a song featured in Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ Others nominated in the category were ‘Applause’ from ‘Tell It like a Woman’ by Diane Warren, ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun Maverick’ by Lady Gaga and BloodPop, and ‘This Is a Life’ from ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ by Ryan Lott, David Byrne, and Mitski. Diddy reacts to viral post of him mocking artist over Grammy Award loss

Popular American rapper, Diddy has reacted to a viral post of him mocking a singer assumed to be Burna Boy or Chris Brown over loss at 65th Grammy Awards.

A post had been making the rounds online which was supposedly made by the American singer. In it, ‘Diddy’ had claimed to have been the one who had helped a certain singer to win his other Grammy Award and the musician had thought he’d win another without his help. The post read: “I helped you win your first and only grammy award which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help ?? Oh okay..”

Netizens have opined that the post was meant for either Chris Brown or Burna Boy since they had both lost their nominations and both had won the award once.

Diddy took to the comment section of the post which was shared by an Instagram blog to dismiss the post as fake.
