A lady, Jubilee Afamefune, rejoices as she graduates with a first class in Engineering from the University of Benin despite combining it with full time photography. The entrepreneurial lady shared a video on her Instagram, jb_afam, where she documented her journey throughout the years. She admitted it had been a tough one as she had to combine the pressure of being a photographer alongside a very involved student. In her words;

I am proud of you! Six years of late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, tears, happiness, dedication, learning, and more. Started in December 2017, extended by ASUU and Covid-19 and now it’s finally over. Deciding to show vulnerable moments in this video was tough but they made up 90% of my study journey. Nigerian singer, Harrysong has bagged an appointment with the Governor of Delta State as an Executive Assistant for Entertainment. Harrysong encouraged his fans and followers to address him as Honourable Superstar Harrysong, reintroducing himself while sharing the good news online and his appointment letter.

The 27-year-old Algerian international was implicated after sharing a video on Instagram from Palestinian preacher Mahmoud al-Hasanat, who prayed for a “dark day” for Jewish people. Although Atal quickly deleted the post, it drew criticism, including from Nice’s mayor, Christian Estrosi, who stated that Atal would not be welcome at OGC Nice unless he denounced Hamas terrorists. Following the incident, Atal was suspended by both the France FA and his club, OGC Nice, and has not played since then. During the December hearing, the Nice Public Prosecutor sought a 10-month suspended prison sentence, but the tribunal decided on an eight-month suspended sentence. As part of the verdict, Atal is also required to cover the costs of publishing the verdict in Nice-Matin and Le Monde. Atal, currently on international duty with Algeria for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), has ten days to appeal the decision.

Man surprises three street sweepers with bags of rice

Three street sweepers were each gifted a bag of rice by an anonymous benefactor as a token of appreciation for their hard work in Calabar, Cross River state. The generous gesture, facilitated by unidentified donors, was highlighted by Tom Alims, a social media influencer on Facebook.

Tom expressed his admiration for the tireless efforts and commitment demonstrated by the three street sweepers. Selecting the recipients was an easy decision for him as he observed their outstanding performance in the designated area assigned by the government for sweeping.

Sharing the post, he wrote; “These three street sweepers deserve special recognition. They are the ones who keep the Street leading into our Governor’s Office clean everyday. The fair lady starts from the roundabout leading into the Governor’s lodge down to the gate leading into the Government House. “The other Man (the only male sweeper I’ve seen) takes it up from there down to Ministry of Social Welfare and Community Development. The other lady takes care of the suroundings of the Dup Process Office. “They all recieved their bags of rice with gratitude and prayers to the Donors. Let’s give them their flowers now that they are alive. We appreciate the work they do. May God bless them and their families.”

Blord He stated that he never ignores his village’s residents, the Ebenebe community in Anambra State, during a festive season.
