The proud father shared lovely pictures of his daughter and wished her the best things in life. In the post, he expressed his love for his daughter and thanked her for always making him proud. Basket Mouth explains why he couldn’t vote

Popular comedian Bright Okpocha known well as Basket Mouth has explained the reason why he couldn’t vote in the 2023 elections.

According to Basket Mouth, he could cast his vote because shows outside of Nigeria and his international shows were planned a year before to secure a good venue. He added that he couldn’t come back to Nigeria to cast his vote because it would have caused him logistical hazards, hence his inability to vote in the presidential elections. HE WROTE: I HAVE ALWAYS SPOKEN UP ABOUT THE WRONGS IN THIS COUNTRY. IT’S QUITE UNFORTUNATE THAT I MISSED THE ELECTIONS THIS YEAR. HOWEVER, MY INTERNATIONAL SHOW ARE PLANNED ONE YEAR SO AS TO SECURE THE DATE AND VENUE. Elsie Uzoma, the estranged wife of popular comedian Bright Okpocha a.k.a Basket Mouth, has urged Nigerians to stop marriage-shaming women.

According to the mother of two whose marriage with Basket Mouth recently crashed, women are always being shamed for not getting married at a certain age.
She said that people need to understand that when a woman isn’t married it’s because she’s probably taking her time or hasn’t found the right person yet.
Marriage is hard work, she said, and if people are forced to get married without being prepared, they might end up rush out of the marriage eventually.

Basket Mouth ‘takes action’ after wife ignored divorce statement

Comedian Basket Mouth has deleted the divorce statement he shared on his page a few days ago after his wife kept mute about it.

Recall that Basket Mouth took to his Instagram page to announce the end of his 12-year marriage with his wife, Elsie Okpocha.
The announcement by the comedian came as a shock to many as none anticipated that the love birds could be separated. According to the statement shared by Basket Mouth, it disclosed that both parties have agreed to go on separate ways.
However, it seems the wife of Basket Mouth isn’t bothered and is yet to react to the divorce statement by her husband as she shared a Christmas photo with her children without Basket Mouth and also shared a video talking about a trending topic on social media about ladies cooking for their boyfriends.
Following the wife’s weird reaction to the divorce post, Basket Mouth has deleted from his page the post he made a few days ago announcing their divorce.

Isaac Fayose makes Basket Mouth’s broken marriage a case study

Isaac Fayose, the brother to the ex-governor, Ayo Fayose, makes a case about the broken marriage of the famous comedian, Basket Mouth.

This comes hours after Basket Mouth announced the dissolution of his 12-years marriage with his wife, Elsie Uzoma Okpocha.
Even though the comedian did not exclusively state the reason for their separation, he regretted the decision to make the announcement public.

In reaction, Isaac Fayose took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram, to reflect on the concept of marriage in reality compared to the fancy type displayed on social media.
While expressing shock at the sudden news, Isaac emphasized the facade of marriages on social media compared to the real struggles couple go through.
“This is what marriagesss looks like on social media…..
But inside house nah different thing😮😮
May God give us the real deal not social media deal,” he wrote.

The take of Isaac Fayose, however, stirred mixed reactions from social media users who condemned his poke-nosing act into the affairs of others.

According to Basket Mouth’s wife, it is a little exaggerated for anyone to say the industry is against the billionaire singer simply because he got little or no applause.
