A young Ghanaian painter named Fuseini has captured the attention of many after winning a substantial sum of GH₵6 million (equivalent to over N395 million) through the popular Aviator bet. The remarkable windfall was presented to Fuseini at a brief ceremony held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Fuseini’s sudden rise to millionaire status has sparked widespread skepticism, with many Ghanaians expressing doubts about the legitimacy of such a substantial win in Aviator betting. The platform has left observers questioning the plausibility of such a massive payout.

According to reports, Fuseini, a regular user of the Aviator platform, had been accustomed to cashing out smaller wins from his bets. However, his life-changing moment unfolded when he decided to take a chance and placed a double bet of GH₵20 (N1,317). Initially intending to cash out early, an unexpected twist of fate occurred as he fumbled with his phone, causing it to fall. Remarkably, the incident that seemed like a stroke of misfortune turned out to be the catalyst for Fuseini’s extraordinary luck. When he retrieved his phone and attempted to cash out once again, the device froze momentarily. Unbeknownst to him, this temporary glitch coincided with the confirmation of his jaw-dropping GH₵6 million win. In a tearful recounting of the events leading to his unexpected windfall, Fuseini attributed his fortune to what he believed was divine intervention and an answer to his mother’s prayers. Overwhelmed by the magnitude of his luck, he shed tears of disbelief during the ceremony, with his mother offering words of consolation. See below;

Libianca’s victory in the Best International New Act category at the BET Awards 2023 has ignited a wave of reactions across Nigerian social media platforms, with many expressing their dissatisfaction and labeling it as “daylight robbery.” Asake, a talented artist signed under the YBNL label, was one of the contenders for the coveted award. However, his loss to Libianca has triggered a debate among fans and industry observers.

Photo Credit: @themixnaija Source: Instagram Some have speculated that Asake’s defeat could be attributed to his predominantly singing in Yoruba, his indigenous language. The controversy surrounding Libianca’s win has highlighted the subjective nature of awards and the various factors that come into play during the selection process. While fans of Asake argue that his music transcends language barriers and should not hinder his chances of winning, others believe that international recognition often favors artists who cater to a wider, more global audience. The outcome of this year’s Best International New Act category has sparked a wider conversation about the impact of language and cultural diversity on award shows. @___bbr007 said; “What did you expect?
