A Twitter user identified as @Galadanci02 took to the platform to allege that a couple’s planned marriage crashed over the cost of the event. According to the user, the bride had planned five different events for her wedding which exceeded the budget of the husband-to-be. The groom’s objection to the planned multiple events ended the entire wedding arrangement by the bride. Read the narration below … “This girl’s wedding was scheduled next week, on the 30th July. Everything was planned and her friends already bought anko, some have collected theirs from tailors, sewed already. An kai lefe. The dresses she planned to use is also ready. But the marriage was cancelled. Guess why? The husband told her that he don’t have money to sponsor all the events she planned to organize. The stupid girl planned 5 different events. Each will cost him much. She just cancelled the wedding. Her mother, friends, and relatives begged this girl to think again but she said NO. Her mother and relatives are pained. Her friends that sewed their anko were saying Allah ya isa for wasting their money to buy anko. The nonsense girl is only after event not the marriage. I’m happy for the guy for not taking one chance. I pray, may she regret what she did!”
