Man cancels wedding after finding out bride slept with ex-boyfriend

Man cancels his wedding on D-Day after finding out that the bride reportedly slept with her ex-boyfriend a few days before their ceremony in Plateau state. The account was shared by the bride’s makeup artist, Linda Gagara, who stated that the incident had left her in tears.

Wedding canceled. According to the report, the wedding ceremony was meant to hold on December 16, 2023 in Ganawuri, Riyom Local Government Area of the state. The makeup artist revealed that she was just about to start making up the bride when the family appeared and canceled the wedding. Linda Gagara added that in that moment, the bride immediately called the groom in order to hear from him, and he told her that he had no interest in getting married to her anymore. From one of the comments, it was gathered that the man got to know about her infidelity during the Sendforth prayers ( Plateau cultural event held for brides a few days before their wedding). The said ex-boyfriend had bragged, during the Sendforth, about sleeping with the bride without knowing that it was the groom he was telling. She wrote … “I really saw something today as the makeup artist of the bride to be. Since yesterday nite that I was with her (bride) n family, to this morning when it was called off,” she wrote. “Wedding that was supposed to happen at dime minute when I was about to start up makeup, ended up just like that. So You mean even on d day of your wedding, your guy or whosoever can just wake up and decide “Ya kare!!! Oh Lord. “No matter what manna. Bride cancels wedding as groom laments cost of five booked events A bride reportedly cancels her wedding over a misunderstanding with the groom who complained of the exorbitant cost of five separate events booked by his wife-to-be. A Twitter user identified as @Galadanci02 took to the platform to allege that a couple’s planned marriage crashed over the cost of the event. According to the user, the bride had planned five different events for her wedding which exceeded the budget of the husband-to-be. The groom’s objection to the planned multiple events ended the entire wedding arrangement by the bride. Read the narration below … “This girl’s wedding was scheduled next week, on the 30th July. INEC cancels election in Imo State, rescues 19 kidnapped staff

INEC has announced the cancellation of the state house of assembly elections scheduled for Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.

The approach was in reaction to the kidnapping of 17 ad-hoc staff earlier today, 18th March 2023. This unfortunate incident raised serious concerns about the safety of electoral officers and the integrity of the election process. An anonymous source within the commission revealed that the INEC staff were reportedly overpowered by gunmen who forced them into vehicles before speeding away. Chinenye Chijioke-Osuji, who is a spokesperson for INEC, however, confirmed the rescue of the kidnapped staff in response to a distress call, with operatives immediately taking action upon receiving information about the incident. Despite successfully rescuing the individuals, Chijioke-Osuji also noted that the election materials, including BVAS and sensitive materials, were not retrieved.

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has decided to cancel his campaign trips and attend court proceedings with his lawyers.

According to a statement, made via Peter Obi’s Twitter handle on Wednesday, he shared that he has canceled his campaign plans. He said: “I am supposed to commence our whistle-stop campaign for our various Labour Party Governorship and State Assembly Candidates today. Initially, my trip was to take me to Nasarawa, Lagos, Enugu, Abia, Delta, Edo, Rivers, Plateau, Borno, etc However, following INEC’s refusal to allow our party to inspect the materials (including BVAS) from the 25th February presidential elections, I am personally heading to the court today with our lawyers. As we pursue due process and defer to the rule of law, I urge all the OBldients in the various states to continue campaigning for our candidates.”
