Do2dtun

OAP Do2dtun She noted that those criticising business online should first of all, own a business first before condemning others. She claimed there was no justification for her to charge in naira given the hike in fabric prices and the drop in the value of the naira against the US dollar. He advised that the designer should charge Nigerians in naira and others in their own currency.

Do2dtun

Do2dtun added that normalizing things like this devalues the naira and cripples the economy. In his words: “An absolute wrong take. Americans charge you in dollars. British charge you in pounds not naira. Even, you have to convert your own Naira to pay them in their own currency. “No one said u should not charge. In Nigeria, charge in Naira. Others, charge them in their own currency. You are charging in dollars in Nigeria but you are paying your taxes in Naira.. Dey play. “If the government charged you taxes In dollars, would you pay? Your sta You charge in dollars.. do you pay your staffs in dollars? “We need to stop normalizing these things. It cripples the economy and devalues the Naira. DSS charges Emefiele to court after weeks in custody

Suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele. This action by the DSS is in accordance with a directive from the Abuja High Court, given on Thursday, July 13, 2023. The court order instructed the DSS to either bring charges against Emefiele within a week or release him. Afunanya’s statement reads, “Sequel to an Abuja High Court Order of today, 13th July 2023, the Department of State Services (DSS) hereby confirms that Mr Godwin Emefiele has been charged to Court in compliance with the Order.” “The public may recall that the Service had, in 2022, applied for a Court Order to detain him in respect of a criminal investigation. Though he obtained a restraining Order from an FCT High Court, the Service, however, arrested him in June, 2023, on the strength of suspected fresh criminal infractions/information, one of which forms the basis for his current prosecution.” The DSS, however, assured the Nigerian public that Emefiele‘s case will be handled with the utmost professionalism, ensuring justice and fairness. It is worth noting that, on June 9, 2023, Tinubu issued a directive instructing Emefiele to transfer the responsibilities of the central bank to the Deputy Governor of Operations, Folashodun Shonubi, who has been functioning in an acting capacity ever since. The next day, the DSS apprehended Emefiele at his residence in Lagos, where he was allegedly planning to escape the country. He has been in the custody of the secret police ever since, prompting concerns from Human Rights activists who have advocated for him to be charged in court.

peter obi

Peter Obi has registered his displeasure over the continuous delay in releasing the governorship results of Abia and Enugu States. In a statement released by Peter Obi today 21st March 2023, Obi charged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to release the results immediately. “Having appealed privately on this matter let me do it publicly, for the imperative of releasing the gubernatorial election results of Abia and Enugu state immediately. “I am aware that the INEC said they are reviewing the collation of the results in these two states. I like to urge them to accelerate their actions as the continued delay is questioning INEC’s intent and the credibility of the election. “It is disheartening that the commission is unable to resolve whatever issues that are holding the release of the results. The records of elections from polling units should not be difficult to calculate if the electoral officials are committed to the integrity of the exercise, and the stipulated guidelines,” Obi said.
