Uti Nwachukwu breaks silence after being accused of scam by American chef

Famous reality star, Uti Nwachukwu addresses the allegations of disguising to defraud the family and friends of an American Chef. Chef Anthony had taken to social media to accuse the reality of creating an Instagram page with his photos to ask for money from his friends and family.

Addressing the allegations, Uti Nwachukwu affirmed that he is innocent of the claims as he is a victim of identity theft. Sharing old videos of himself used by the fraudster, Uti revealed that the culprit is no other but an internet scammer. In a note via his Instagram page, the BBNaija ex-housemate expressed his resentment at fraudsters while warning about the justification of their actions. He wrote; “PLEASE VIEW MY STORIES TO SEE THE VIDEO THE SCAMMER USED TO ANSWER THE CHEF’s CALL …… and it’s another one ! So as u can see this Person has clearly screen grabbed my photo or video and is obviously using another Phone To record that screen grab while answering the phone. Chef Dammy’s pastor sued by Ekiti government, demands N10 million damages

Reports say that the pastor of Chef Dammy, Pastor Jeremiah has been sued by the Ekiti government for damages on behalf of the chef. The Nigerian chef Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, has filed a lawsuit for rights infringement against Jeremiah Adegoke, and the Ekiti State Police Command at the Ekiti State High Court in Ado Ekiti. The lawsuit was filed by the Directorate of Citizens Rights (DCR) at the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice. The DCR also requested that the court prevent Mr. Adegoke and the police from detaining Chef Dammy and that the chef, who gained popularity following her unsuccessful effort to break a Guinness World Record, receive N10 million in damages.

The 24-year-old raised concerns in October about alleged harassment and constant threats from people she labeled as “people of God” and her pastor, which sparked the conflict between Chef Dammy and her pastor. The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) 300-level Mass Communication student said that she had been intimidated and harassed, which had left her constantly afraid for her life. It’s unclear exactly what the chef and her once-supportive pastor were fighting about, but it seems like their disagreement stemmed from the unsuccessful cook-a-thon. The lawsuit seeks a declaration that the continued harassment, molestation, threat of arrest, and intimidation by the pastor, allied with Mr Samuel and the Nigerian police, infringes on the applicant’s fundamental human rights. The lawsuit further demands a restraining order preventing Chef Dammy’s arrest and seeks a compensation of N10 million for aggravation and damages.

Reports coming in say that popular chef, Dammy who was reportedly arrested yesterday has been granted bail. On Thursday, November 23, men from the Police AIG zone 17 in Akure, Ondo State, reported invited famed chef Damilola Adeparusi, who sought to break the Guinness World Record, following a petition purportedly filed against her by her pastor, Adegoke Jeremiah. Confirming allegations of her invitation, AIG Zone 17 spokeswoman DSP Hakeem stated that the police received a petition against Chef Dammy and invited her. Dammy, he claimed, accepted the offer on Thursday afternoon, November 23, and was granted administrative bail after presenting a guarantee.

In the late hours of 19th October 2023, Chef Dammy took to her page causing fear and panic after she disclosed her life was in danger.

Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has criticised those who trolled Chef Dammy after Irish chef, Alan Fisher dethrones Hilda Baci. Recall that Guinness World Record announced on their official Twitter page that the Irish chef, Alan Fisher, cooked for an impressive 119 hours and 57 minutes in his restaurant in Japan surpassing Hilda’s time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

He did not only break her record which is the longest cooking marathon by an individual, he also broke the record of longest baking marathon by an individual. Reacting to this, the actress recounted when Chef Dammy was bullied for attempting to dethrone Hilda Baci for the longest cooking marathon record.
