Pastor Blessed, the founder of Water Brooks church, pens a heartfelt appreciation note dedicated to his wife, Mercy Chinwo as he unveils their son’s name. This comes after the celebrity couple welcomed their first child some weeks ago, followed by the suspense of holding back before unveiling the child’s gender.

In a new Instagram post of a picture of his wife and their son, Pastor Blessed commended the gospel singer for her exceptional role as both a wife and mother to their child. Describing her as his world, he acknowledged the immense blessing of having her and expressed gratitude to God for gifting him such a wonderful wife. The esteemed pastor also shared the name of their newborn son, revealing that he is named Charis Nduka Blessed.

“My world. I’m a Blessed Man. Lord, I’m grateful. Thank you baby @mercychinwo for being an amazing wife and mother to our son “CHARIS NDUKA BLESSED,” he wrote.

Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo is elated as she celebrates one million YouTube views with her new music video dedicated to her newborn baby. Recall that on October 27, the singer announced the birth of her child with her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, on the same day the music video titled, You Do This One, was released.

Along with images from their ultrasound, the 32-year-old also shared pictures from her maternity shoot. Mercy celebrated reaching one million views on Instagram on October 30 by posting clips from the music video.

Mercy Chinwo celebrates her husband as he bags an honorary doctorate degree

Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, is jubilant as she celebrates her husband, Pastor Blessed, on his recent achievement of receiving an honorary doctorate degree from Myles Leadership University. Mercy Chinwo took to her Instagram page to express her congratulations and joy for her husband’s accomplishment.

In her Instagram post, Mercy Chinwo rejoiced, saying; “Congratulations to you my Gee. Aka Doctor Blessed Uzochikwa Aka Doctor SWEET.” She showered him with love and admiration, celebrating his newest milestone. Pastor Blessed, on his part, expressed his excitement and humility in receiving the honorary doctorate degree. Mercy Chinwo sues Obidiz for using her name in secular song, demands N2Bn in damages

Popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has slammed a 2 billion naira lawsuit on Afrobeats singer, Obidiz for using her name in his song.

The talented gospel songstress sued him for using her name as well as her photo in a derogatory way in his song. A suit filed by Mercy Chinwo’s lawyers on 23rd March, 2023 showed that the secular singer, Obidiz was sent a cease and desist letter, asking him to avoid using her name or image on any of his promotional content and music.

Photos, promotional content and music bearing Mercy Chinwo’s name and image were also requested to be taken down by the singer. If he fails to comply with the demands made of him, it was warned that he’d be dragged to court and made to pay 2 billion naira in damages.

Some social media users have claimed that Nigerian gospel artist Mercy Chinwo is already pregnant a few months after marriage.

Mercy Chinwo recently tied the knot with her husband Lagos preacher, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa of Water Brooks Church, Lagos. The ceremony was one of the most talked about topics on social media. The artist took to her Instagram page and shared a photo of herself wearing an oversized Jacket and made a joke about Valentine’s Day. She wrote: “Someone’s husband is about to tell the wife that every day is Valentine. My dear sisters don’t fall for it oh. My dear sister be wise, I repeat be wise…” However, it seems fans were only concentrating on her oversized jacket making most people insinuate that she is pregnant. Popular Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo has bemoaned not being allowed to wear her signature beret during her introduction ceremony.
Recall that the songstress is set to tie the conjugal knot with her fiancé, Blessed Uzochikwa after they announced their engagement a month ago.

In a new video which captures the moment prior to her introduction ceremony, the singer was seen begging her make up team to allow her wear her beret as it would be easier on her than the stress of putting on ‘Gele’.
She called out her husband to come to her rescue, telling people there to go call her husband and they should tell him that his sister is looking for him.
