It was gathered that the audacious thief had, in a way which still shocks everyone, stole the transformer while the residents slept at night but was caught by some members of the vigilante. Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef became a house name after she broke the record for completing 100 hours of non-stop cooking. Many people applauded her for putting Nigeria and Africa on the map.

In the late hours of yesterday, Hilda Baci shared a video of some delicacies she prepared. One of the delicacies which have caused an uproar on social media is the dog delicacy Hilda Baci prepared. A lot of Nigerians have slammed Hilda for portraying Nigerians are dog eaters while others also argue that killing animals like dogs unnecessarily is cruel and ethically questionable, and have called her to pull down the video from her page. In the midst of the backlashes, the president of ‘My Dog and I’ group, Jackie Idimogu has taken to her page to call out Hilda Baci. According to her, she is disappointed in the chef for killing and serving a dog delicacy. She disclosed how she and her other colleagues in the group alongside their dogs ll came to the stand to show support to Hilda Baci when she was busy with her cook-marathon a few weeks ago. According to her, there are some dog lovers in the country who respect and love dogs and won’t accept any form of harm to befall them. She described her dog at home as her son. She quizzed Hilda Baci about her conscience on serving a dog delicacy amongst the other foods she cooked, portraying to the world that Nigerians are dog eaters. Clergyman chased out of community for impregnating over 10 church members

A clergyman has been chased out of a community for allegedly impregnating multiple members of his church. It was gathered that the man usually lures women by giving them visions of marriage to rich men if they sleep with him.

Reports online revealed that the self-styled preacher usually takes the desperate ones who have fallen for his tricks to a small hut on a mountain where he sleeps with them. The man met his Waterloo when one of his victim revealed to her family that the pastor was responsible for her pregnancy. A source said: “This man has a church and goes to the mountain with his female church members for prayers. It was revealed that 99% of his church members are women who aren’t from the community. He always gives them visions to help them get married to rich men. The women desperate for a miracle, visit his church for solution and never return home to their families. We gathered that he takes them to a mountain where he built a small hut and sl££ps with them on rotational basis. When the victims get pregnant, he will order them to t£rminat£ it. Unfortunately for him, one of his victims was accosted by her family members and she explained how she got pregnant. Her revelation made irate youth pay the church a courtesy visit. They got there and found other victims whom they set free from the pastor’s [email protected] They [email protected] down the church and helped him pack his items advising him never to return to the village.”

20 dead as gunmen attack Southern Kaduna community

A group of gunmen attacked the Sankwab community located in the Zango-Kataf Local Government Area of Southern Kaduna killing at least 20 people.

On Saturday night, the attackers invaded and destroyed several homes while causing damage to properties worth millions of naira. The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident but did not disclose the exact number of casualties. According to a source, the perpetrators, who are believed to be Fulani militia, opened fire randomly and killed at least twenty villagers, causing panic and forcing residents to flee for their lives. However, the military’s timely intervention helped to contain the situation. In response to the latest killings in Southern Kaduna, the Commissioner revealed that the military had informed the state government of the significant loss of lives. In a statement released to newsmen on Sunday, titled “Several lives lost in Runji village of Zangon Kataf LGA… El-Rufai condemns killings,” he reported that the attack resulted in numerous fatalities and many residents sustaining injuries. Additionally, according to the preliminary report submitted to the state government, an unspecified number of houses were burned. Commissioner’s Statement on Attack in Southern Kaduna “The military has informed the Kaduna State Government of an attack in Runji village, Zangon Kataf LGA, in which several lives were lost on Saturday night. “The preliminary report further informed the government that the attack also left some residents injured and an unspecified number of houses burnt down in the community. “According to the report, troops had a fierce encounter with the attackers and are still in the general area. “While waiting for a detailed report, Governor Nasir El-Rufai who received the preliminary report in the early hours of Sunday has condemned the killings as unacceptable and unjustifiable. “The Governor condoled the families that lost their loved ones and prayed for the repose of the victims’ souls. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. “The Kaduna State Government will update the public on the incident as soon as detailed reports are received from the security agencies.”

Street rave, Seyi Vibez has suffered a severe backlash from the Muslim community over opening his music video with a Quranic verse.

The singer unveiled a snippet of his new music video a couple of days ago. This came after Asake dropped his 2023 debut single, Yoga. The Muslim community, identified as @nigerianmuslim on Instagram made a repost of Seyi Vibez’s video. A Lagos-based gay man has claimed that Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, is a member of their community in Lagos State.
Recall that, allegations about the actor’s sexuality came up after his ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu revealed that the movie star didn’t sleep with her for 5 years.

She also claimed that after they finally got intimate, the actor’s performance was very poor.
In a recent development, an audio from a gay man in Lagos speaking on Alexx Ekubo’s membership in the gay community has gone viral.
The man said:
“Even my community here is Lagos have a problem with Alexx, I mean dude we know about you, you’re in our community, we know who you dated, we know your ex, we have seen you in our get-togethers.

AKSU student hospitalized after being allegedly set ablaze by community resident amid fierce argument

Tension heightened in Akwa Ibom State University after a 200L student of the department of Philosophy identified as Enwongo Akpan got set ablaze by an indigene following a verbal altercation.
Reports held that the incident occurred on Sunday, 10th July when the lad got into an argument with the indigene who sells fuel in the area and as things got intense, the undisclosed community resident poured fuel on him and ignited a spark of fire causing the comrade to sustain severe injuries.

Akpan was admitted to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment but was later transferred to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) for proper treatment.
The school authorities and Police are said to have swung into immediate action.
Sharing the story, a Facebook user identified as Remedy Effiong wrote:
“LIVE: ENWONGO AKPAN WILL SURVIVE.
It’s a sad Sunday afternoon in the academic community of the Akwa Ibom State University, Obio Akpa Campus, Oruk Anam LGA as Comrade Enwongo Akpan, my friend, a 200 Level student of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts was a victim of an accident where a road side fuel retailer poured him fuel and set him ablaze after an argument on the fuel been adulterated.
Enwongo has now responded to treatment at the Mercy Hospital, Abak and in the next few minutes will be transfered to the UUTH, Uyo for more adequate attention.
I personally appreciate the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nse Essien, The Dean Student Division, Dr. Monday E Dickson and Hon. Sampson Idiong for their swift response as they’ve assured immediate security actions against the culprit.
I call on my colleagues and Comrades to keep calm as the Vice Chancellor, Dean of Students and Village Head are headed to Udoidiong junction to calm the situation on ground.
