A Kenyan couple leaves the internet at a standstill as they receive sets of furniture, a washing machine, a cow, a goat, and many others worth millions of naira on their wedding day. A video making the rounds on social media captured the tradition in an African country where couples are blessed with literally everything to start a life.

In the video, the couple be seen taking the delivery of a full set of sofas, including and table a dining set, and many others. The guests joyfully brought their gifts forward while taking photographs with the newlywed, except for the gifter of a cow who only presented a photo of the cattle.

The huge quantity of the gift has since left many Nigerians especially stunned at how prosperous a wedding ceremony is in Kenya. “Faith rewarded” – Couple welcomes quadruplets after 24 years of waiting

A Ghanaian couple, Elder Godfred Kwame Asamoah Agyemang and his wife, Deaconess Louisa, celebrated the arrival of their long-awaited bundles of joy as they became first-time parents to quadruplets after 24 years of childlessness. The joyous occasion took place on Sunday, December 17, 2023, as the couple, residents of Sunyani Central District, gathered with friends, family, and well-wishers for a naming and dedication ceremony officiated by Apostle James Gabriel Quardson, the Sunyani Area Head, along with other ministers from the Sunyani Area. The quadruplets, three girls and a boy, have been named Godfred Asamoah Agyemang Jnr (Adom), Ann Anima Asamoah Agyemang (Akyede), Maria Oduro Asamoah Agyemang (Ayeyi), and Louisa Pokuaa Asamoah Agyemang (Nhyira).

Elder Agyemang and Deaconess Louisa, who tied the knot in Sunyani on March 14, 1999, faced a challenging 23-year journey of childlessness, marked by multiple miscarriages. Undeterred by their struggles, the couple sought medical treatment and guidance from gynecologists and other professionals. “We have suffered during this period of childlessness, but we never denied our faith in God,” Elder Agyemang told Pentecost News. Throughout their challenging journey, the couple maintained their unwavering faith, continuing to pray and believing in God for a miracle. Their prayers were answered when, miraculously, his wife Deaconess Louisa conceived in November 2022.

Young couple dies from generator fumes hours after birthday celebration

A young Nigerian couple has tragically met their end in Ugborikoko Community, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, as a result of inhaling generator fumes. The unidentified man and his girlfriend passed away in their sleep, following a night of celebration in honour of the lady’s birthday. According to reports, the couple had marked the occasion by visiting a night club on Sunday to revel in the festivities. However, their joyous celebration took a devastating turn as they succumbed to the lethal effects of generator fumes in the early hours of Monday, December 11. After leaving the nightclub, the couple reportedly proceeded to the lady’s shop, where they decided to turn on a generator before retiring for the night. Unfortunately, the decision proved fatal, and they were discovered lifeless before the break of dawn. A young couple set to get married narrates the touching story of how they met 12 years ago on a popular social media platform, 2go. A Facebook user identified as Florence Nwankpa took to the platform to roll out a throwback photo with her partner alongside recent prewedding photoshoots.

According to Florence, their love story started when they met in 2011 on 2go and have since loved each other until 2023 when they are ready to say the vows. In a lengthy post, she wrote; “To God be the glory 🙏.

2go remains my best chatting platform because it offered me the most precious gift I could ever ask for. Rewind to 2011 when I met him on 2go, he was bent on having a date with me but I wasn’t ready at the moment. On a certain Saturday morning, he visited my church without prior information. He sat next to me at the other row, (I didn’t notice because I’ve not seen him before) and took pictures of me while service was ongoing🤣.

When I got home, I received my pictures taken at closed range inside the church. I was very angry because I wasn’t in my best outfit (Mum’s gown and shoes 🤣🤣🤣). We became very good friends thereafter but I refused to meet him😜. On 6th of Dec 2013, (my birthday 🥰) he called to offer a birthday gift, I sent my younger brother @belikepresh to pick up the gift. My brother came back with a big portrait of my 2go profile picture. I was like huh!, this guy is too forward and intentional.

Surprisingly, I got admitted into the university in the same state where he was schooling 😉 and friendship became stronger. Fast forward to now….. we are getting married.
