Senators donate N109M December salaries to victims of Kaduna bombing

The entire 109 Senators of the 10th Senate collectively contributed their one-month salaries, totalling N109 million, to aid the victims of a bombing accident in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. This comes days after the military accidentally bombed a community with claims of being fed the wrong intel for the operation. On Sunday the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, during a visit to the Kaduna Government House with a high-powered delegation of the Senate announced the generous gesture to the victims. The Senators were warmly received by the state governor, Senator Uba Sani. In a statement by his Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau explained that the donated funds would be transmitted to the state governor for subsequent distribution to the affected victims. Expressing gratitude, the governor thanked the Senators for their donation, which amounted to their December salaries. The Senate delegation, including Senate leader Senator Micheal Opayemi Bamidele, Chief Whip Senator Ali Ndume, Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, Deputy Minority Leader Senator Kamorudeen Olarere, Senator Abdulhamid Malam-Madori, Senator Aliyu Ikra Bilbis, Senator Ibrahim Bomoi, Senator Ibrahim Lamido, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua, Senator Victor Umeh, Senator Muntari Dandutse, Senator Lawal Usman, and Senator Emmanuel Udende, also visited the victims at the Barau Dikko Hospital.

Innocent Tino, a Facebook user, shared this offer on social media, stating that he received it in his direct messages from a lady willing to donate. The lady, whom he described as very beautiful, conveyed her message acknowledging that Jay might have offended God but believed that he had learned a valuable lesson and deserved a second chance. The message reads, “Good afternoon Tino. I believe we all deserve a second chance and having offended God and humanity Jay Boogie has learned the hardest way. Hence, I would like to give him one of my kidneys. Pls hide my ID and find a way to reach him. Thank you.”

A lady has been left in a state of dilemma after her husband insists she donates her kidney to his ailing mother. The lady, 25 revealed that she is married to her husband 35, whose mother lives with them. Her mother-in-law is sick, and they have diagnosed her with kidney issues. The lady’s kidney matches that of her mother-in-law, and her husband has asked that she donates one of her kidneys to his mother. He claims he loves his mother so much and would never want anything to hurt her. He has also conditioned his wife to prove his love to him by donating one of her kidneys to his mother. Now, she seeks the opinion of the public as to how to approach the situation.

She wrote: “I am 25 years old. Married to a man of 35years. We have been married for more than 2years with a child. The issue that brought me here is that my mother in law is sick (kidney problem) and it happens that mine matches her. My husband is begging me to donate one of my kidney to save his mom. He said he loves his mom so much and will not want anything to happen to her. That if love him as I claim, now is time to prove it. I refused. How can a young girl,like me that is just starting life donate a kidney to an old woman of 48years. Even if the person is my mum, she won’t even allow me to donate for her. Now hubby is acting up. Saying if anything happens to her mum, he will never forgive me. Please, am I being wicked?”

Veteran Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh has volunteered to offer whooping sum of N500,000 to remove the Chrisland’s student’s video from the internet.
It can be recalled that days ago, an alleged sxx video of some Chrisland students who went to represent their school in a competition in Dubai, went viral.

Ambassador Tonto has offered to removed the video from the internet and restrict it from future uploads.
She offered to contribute her share with a sum of N500,000 and she equally urged colleagues and fans to donate what they can.
