Equatorial Guinea secured a 1-0 victory over Namibia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for Group H on Wednesday. The Nzalang Nacional leads their group with the only goal of the match scored by Emilio Nsue in the 67th minute.

However, Equatorial Guinea managed to hold on to their lead and secured all three points. This victory takes the side to the first place in Group H with 3 points. Namibia, on the other hand, is currently at the bottom of the table. Other members of the group are Liberia, Malawi , Sao Tome and Principe, and Tunisia.
