13-year-old kills three years old playmate with gun in Ogun

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested Semiu Adegesin, a 45-year-old man, in connection with the death of a three-year-old girl named Esther Samuel.

The suspect was apprehended for negligence that resulted in the child’s demise. Adegesin, who possessed a loaded dane gun, had left it unattended in an open space in his backyard, where children played. A 13-year-old boy identified as Babalola reportedly picked up the gun, aimed it at the girl, and pulled the trigger, resulting in her death. According to DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, the suspect was arrested following a report made at the Imasayi police divisional headquarters detailing the incident that occurred at Kukudi village in Imasayi. Oyeyemi said, “Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, the deceased was discovered in a pool of blood. “Preliminary investigations revealed that Semiu Adegesin, the owner of the dane gun, loaded his gun and carelessly left it in an open place in the backyard of the house where children used to play. “It was at this point that the 13-year-old Babalola picked up the loaded gun, pointed it at the deceased, and pulled the trigger. “The deceased was quickly taken to the General Hospital, Ilaro, but was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. “The owner of the dane gun was promptly arrested and taken to the station for interrogation.” Expressing his sympathy to the family of the deceased, the Commissioner of Police, Frank Mba, described the incident as unfortunate. He also urged the public to remain calm while assuring them that the case would be thoroughly investigated. “The death of young Esther Samuel is an unfortunate incident, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family. “The Ogun State Police Command will ensure that justice is served in this case and the perpetrator brought to book. “We urge members of the public to remain calm as we conduct a thorough and discreet investigation,” He said.

Plateau State Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Pankshin LGA has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The police officer, widely called SP Lareee, was reportedly kidnapped on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Woktori Hotel in Pankshin. A policeman in the council area who spoke to newsmen on Thursday said the Lareee, who was recently posted to the division, was reportedly kidnapped by the gunmen after they shot him in his hotel room. A source who spoke to Vanguard: “The incident happened close to our house, as we just ended our night prayers with my family, we heard g¥nshots, we tried to find out what was happening and we learned that some armed men went to Woktori hotel. It was this morning that we got to know that it was the kidnappers that kidnapped the newly posted DPO in Pankshin. We learned that the man just came and was lodged in the hotel when they came to kidnap him.

A prophetess of the Prophetic Fire Deliverance Church stirs reaction after being spotted wielding a gun on the altar.

A video making rounds on social media captured the moment a prophetess wavered a gun while praying in tongues.
During an intense prayer against the devil and other household enemies, the preacher demonstrated how the gun is intended to take down anyone standing against her glory and that of the congregation.
The preacher could also be seen dressed in a gown made with the Nigerian Army’s camo with soldiers on her sides as bodyguards.
The video, however, stirred mixed reactions across social media spaces regarding practices allowed within the four walls of a church.
“Churches need to be regulated and stop this madness. They are going overboard with all these shenanigans. God is indeed patient,” a social media user wrote.

Retired journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has fired heavily at Tonto Dikeh following a harsh post directed to her by the actress.
Recall that Kemi Olunloyo ignited the wrath of Tonto after she said that the posts Tonto made as regards Kpokpogri’s house demolition were for clouts.

Replying, Tonto Dikeh sent a strong message to Kemi while wishing that she returns to jail.
Following this, the former journalist(as she claims) has taken to social media to accuse the thespian of drug abuse and illuminated how the actress purchased a gun to kill her ex-husband, Churchill.

“I REALLY WANT TO HELP TONTO DIKEH
I’m concerned about the businesswoman who’s office she visited last week and her bag fell on the ground with a crack pipe dropping out. I’m aware that she contacted the NDLEA on her post wanting to be an ambassador and requesting to be tested but have no idea of her dealings with the agency. I don’t work for them. I’m just an advocate with my own campaign against the war on drugs, something I did in America 30 yrs ago. Dencia started the fundraiser, Yele Sowore the 3rd donor sent me money from New York and promoted the fundraiser heavily on Sahara Reporters. Tonto was the second donor with 200K, I can’t believe it’s the same person that is professing Ogun to help her send me back to prison. Did she rush to donate that money for clout in one of the most controversial clout fundraisers known to man. Hushpuppi wanted me to beg Linda Ikeji first, Emenike contacted me lashing out at all these “small children insulting my wellness”and paid it off disgracing all the donation clout chasers.
May my life never go that low again. Tonto has no regards for humanity. She rejoices over other people’s demise. A narcissist who has a foundation possibly to prove to the world she’s doing her part. Those praising her are beneficiaries of her giveaways.

A viral video making the rounds captured moment a motorist pulled out a gun to terrify another motorist as they exchanged words heatedly on the road in Ghana.

The man who was driving recklessly was confronted by another driver which provoked him to pulling out a gun, brandishing it to scare the other driver.
As could be seen in the viral video, the driver holding the gun repeatedly slapped the other driver who made half-hearted attempts to defend himself as he was partially scared of being shot at by the other driver.
Onlookers were too scared to intervene as one of them asked another to phone the police.

“The gun refused to shoot”

Man identified by his Facebook username as Princewill Umoh has narrated how he miraculously evaded mayhem that was about to be unleashed on him by alleged cultists.

According to him, the unfortunate occurrence took place on the evening of 8th March 2022 after assisting in bailing a friend who was arrested by the police.
He recounted how he drove his friend back to his house and left but on his way home, remember that he forgot one of his devices at his friend’s place so decided to go back for it.
He however resolved to park and trek down hence he hadn’t gone far. Upon getting to his friend’s house, the dude wasn’t around and as he stepped out of the guy’s place, the unexpected occurred.

“A sad evening!
Its quit pathetic but I’m glad I’m alive, around the hour of 12 noon one of my bossom friend had a police case, he was arrested and detained. What are friends for, I had to rally around reaching out to his family members to facilitate his bail…. After everything around the hour of 8pm he was finally released, I drove him to his house… On my way returning I forgot one of my device at his place, since his place wasn’t too distanced I had to park the car and use foot to his place but unfortunately he wasn’t home, I called him but his contact wasn’t going through. Stepping out of his place an average guy of the age 27 presumably stopped me armed(cultist) but I wasn’t afraid at all.
He requested for my phone which I refused but dragged, before I turned about 5 heavy body guys stepped out of the nearby bush, I took on my hills, sadly they over powered me and one cocked the gun to shoot stating that I’m of the opposite cult group.
At this point I was between life and death….guess what? The Gun refused to shoot, they tried severally it refused shooting…before now they collected my phone finally.
I sensed immediately that the miracle working God took over, now I gathered momentum to run again while they were repairing their gun.
I’m phoneless but where there is life, there is hope!
