In a remarkable display of recognition and appreciation, Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, who recently broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual, has been gifted a plot of land worth N3.5 million by real estate firm In-Motions Business Limited. The managing director of In-Motions Business Limited, Mr. Gideon Ekanem, announced the generous donation via a statement on his Twitter handle.
Ekanem commended Hilda Baci for her perseverance and determination in achieving this historic feat. The plot of land, located in Wana Court Green Estate in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom State, was presented to Hilda Baci as a token of recognition for her extraordinary achievement in the cooking marathon. In his statement, Ekanem expressed the company’s delight in honoring Hilda Baci’s unwavering determination and highlighted their shared values of diligence and perseverance. Hilda Baci, the Nigerian chef who broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon has shown off her fully automated house. In a viral video on TikTok, Hilda gave a tour of her house, stating that the kitchen is her favourite spot in the house as that is where her chef contents are created.
According to the celebrity chef, she can open the door to her house even if she’s not within the vicinity. “I have an Alexa that does everything from opening the curtain, turning on and off the tv, among others,” Hilda said. Furthermore, she talked about her love for books, music and Scrabble. It would be recalled that Hilda had embarked on a four-day cooking marathon during which she broke the 2019 record that was previously set by an Indian chef Lata Tondon, by cooking for 100 hours. Reacting to this, EFCC joined Nigerians to celebrate as it urged youths to be legit as Hilda and make good choices.

Guinness World Records (GWR) has acknowledged the 100 hour cooking marathon of Hilda Baci that ended yesterday evening. The global authority on record-breaking achievements has finally recognized the effort of Hilda Baci to break the longest cooking marathon. 
In the late hours of yesterday, Hilda Baci hit the set target of cooking non-stop for 96 hours. However, after the 96th hour, the determined young lady added an extra 4 hour to hit a 100 hour cooking marathon. Her 100 hour cooking marathon which broke the record of the India Chef who cooked for 87 hours 45 minutes has been recognized by Guinness World Records who have shared on their story the historic cooking stint of Hilda Baci. Guinness World Record holder, Lata Tondon, has responded to the recent uproar caused by Nigerians in response to Hilda Baci cooking record broken by preparing food for over 100 hours. Netizens flooded Lata’s Instagram page with comments praising Hilda Baci and criticizing Lata for losing the record.
However, Lata Tondon has called for peace and requested that Nigerians wait patiently for Guinness to make an official announcement regarding the record-breaking achievement. In a message penned on her Instagram, Lata Tondon urged Nigerians to refrain from turning it into a competition and emphasized that her record remains intact until Guinness declares otherwise.
She made a humble request for peace among Nigerians, emphasizing that it is just a record and not a matter of rivalry. In her words; “A humble request to all my brothers and sisters in Nigeria to maintain peace and wait for Guinness to officially announce if the current record is broken or not. “Please don’t make it a competition. It’s just a record my friends. I am a peace loving person and wish the same for you” As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Guinness will address the controversy and provide clarity on the record-breaking claim. Backlashes have trailed popular actress Judy Austin’s congratulatory message to the sensational record-breaking chef, Hilda Baci. The Akwa Ibom chef has become an internet sensation after she broke the previous record of 87 hours, 40 minutes, after she cooked for 100 hours and 40 minutes.
Various Nigerian folks and celebrities who had cheered her on to achieve the great feat expressed their congratulations on their platforms. The controversial actress, Judy Austin who has been in the bad books of some Nigerians have blasted her for for sending a congratulatory message to Hilda. Judy wrote: “judyaustin1 A big congratulations Darling @hildabaci This is just the beginning of all the beautiful things coming to you!!! Go girl!!”

A Nigerian lady with the handle @queen_ybnl on Twitter has given her reasons for advising ace singer, Davido to get married to Hilda Baci. Speaking via her recent Twitter post, Queen reiterated Hilda’s determination to break a record and threw subtle shades at Chioma.
According to her, Chioma’s yet to break any cooking record despite being married to Davido. In her words: “Is this not a shame to Chioma? Chioma has been cooking for more than 7 years now.
