Star Nigerian footballer, Odion Jude Ighalo has shared the heartwarming moment his mother prayed for him and his legs. Mothers’ are the most caring person a child can have in his corner and their prayers are no doubt very powerful and revealing.

Odion Ighalo’s mom who’s currently residing abroad with her son decided to say a powerful prayer for him so he continues to succeed in his football career. Although what she said was masked by the background music, she could be observed holding her son’s hand and mouthing words of prayers for him. She then touched both of his legs, anointing them in more prayers so he continues to score winning goals for his team. Watch the video below:

Odion Ighalo imitated a famous Lionel Messi celebration on Tuesday evening, after scoring for his side, Al-Hilal, during a Riyadh derby with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr. He scored before the half-time break and just after the hour mark to double his tally. He also got a yellow card during the match. Ighalo will be back in action against Al-Ittihad in the King’s Cup of Champions semi-finals on Sunday, April 23.
