A lady has recounted how her boyfriend who earns N40,000 proved his love by allegedly borrowing 500,000 from a popular loan app to ‘spoil’ her. The lady known as @praiseoghre took to the micro-blogging platform to share the account with netizens.

The boyfriend went above and beyond by borrowing half a million from the loan app to spoil her despite the fact he earns 40 thousand naira salary. @praiseoghre wrote: “I ask this guy to prove his love for me, he borrowed 500k from palmpay, and ask me to spoil myself with it, even though his monthly income is 40k, no one can tell me otherwise, this guy really loves me. I’m so lucky 🥰”
Goal reported that the loan transfer is yet to go through due to the Blues’ desire for him to feature at this summer’s U20 World Cup. It was gathered that Chelsea’s management believes that an outing at another FIFA showpiece will aid 18-year-old Santos’ development while also making it easier for them to obtain a work permit, which has proved impossible so far. Santos recently starred in the U20 South American Championship for Brazil, netting six goals in eight games as he captained his nation to victory in the tournament, as well as winning the Golden Boot. Following his performances for Brazil, Chelsea is keen for Santos to feature at the U20 World Cup, which is due to take place between May and June 2023. 
Palmeiras are reportedly reluctant to agree to the deal as they could end up losing Santos at a vital stage of their season that delivers important fixtures in the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. They are now seeking assurances that they will have the final say on whether the talented teenager is released for Brazil duty or not. There are speculations that a compromise could be reached, and if such an agreement is settled upon, Santos will remain in his homeland until December. 
Cancelo’s loan move to Bayern Munich led to speculation of him reportedly falling out with Guardiola. However, addressing the claim at a press conference, Guardiola insisted that all is well between him and the Portuguese footballer in spite of the loan deal which includes a €70 million (£62m/$76m) purchase option. He said; 
“I wish him the very best. He has been an incredible figure in winning two Premier League titles. After the World Cup we have been playing in different patterns and I’ve given more time to other players. “Everyone has their own personality. He loves to play, he trains the best but he needs to play to be happy, so we decided together to let him go to Munich. He wants to play every game so hopefully that can happen in Munich.” When asked about possible replacements, Guardiola said he would wait and see if the club needs to target another full-back at the end of the season. 
The Athletic reported that while the Ligue 1 side appeared to have it all wrapped up with the player agreeing to the move and having already flown to Paris to complete a medical, Chelsea failed to file the necessary paperwork before Tuesday’s transfer deadline, with a source from PSG labelling the situation a “Class A circus”. PSG are now set to lodge an appeal with the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), although given their ruthlessness in similar cases in the past, it is thought to be unlikely that the situation will be resolved. If PSG wins their appeal, the Morocco international will join the capital club and fill the role left behind by Pablo Sarabia, who exited for Wolverhampton Wanderers last month. However, if the commission denies the appeal, Ziyech will return to Chelsea with an uncertain future as the English club moves in a different direction that doesn’t include the winger. 
The gaffe evoked memories of David de Gea’s mooted dream move to Real Madrid allegedly being scuppered due to a faulty fax machine in 2015. Ziyech, a £33 million signing in 2020, is now left in limbo and will be anxiously waiting for the transfer to get the green light. 
Cancelo has been a key player for City in recent times, taking in 36 appearances for the Premier League champions last season while making the PFA Premier League Team of the Year in each of the last two campaigns. Some English media platforms reported that Manchester United and Bayern Munich are working out a short-term move with an option to buy him for €70 million (£61.6 million). The 28-year-old spent three and a half years at the Etihad after joining the club from Juventus in 2019 for €65 million (£60 million). 
Cancelo is now eager to leave to get first-team football after losing his place since the World Cup. The Portugal international has only started three of City’s 10 games since the World Cup and has not featured since the Manchester derby defeat. City’s shift in tactics, plus the emergence of teenager Rico Lewis, the ability of Nathan Ake to play left-back, and the fact manager Pep Guardiola has five central defenders in his squad means they believe they have enough cover to cope without him for the rest of the season. Bayern has already lost left-back Lucas Hernandez for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury. 
The club’s full-back Noussair Mazrouai was also sidelined recently, though they did sign the Netherlands international Daley Blind. If Cancelo seals a switch before the winter window closes on Tuesday, then he would be in line to make his debut for Bayern in either a DFB-Pokal clash with Mainz on Wednesday or a Bundesliga trip to Wolfsburg on Sunday. 
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website after completing the deal, Felix said; “Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives, so I am very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge.” The footballer’s exit from Atletico comes three and a half years after a €126m (£112.9m) move from Benfica, which makes him the third most expensive signing in the history of the club.
