Daniel Etim-Effiong shares why male actors seek financial aid more
Nigerian actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong, reveals the reason more male actors come online to seek financial aid compared to the women in the industry. He explains this in an episode of the Bad and Boujee podcast with hosts, TolaniBaj and Moet Abebe. The actor was asked why more male actors are coming out to request crowdfunding for sickness amongst other pressing issues. The actor believes this is owing to the patriarchal society in Nigeria which leaves women as men’s responsibility and as such men cannot stand by and do nothing when a woman is facing a challenge. Using himself as an example, he explained that if he finished a job and got paid, his first thought is to take care of his family and sustain the home and settle outstanding bills. However for some women, once they get paid, the money is for themselves alone to enjoy and spend, which helps them in saving more. He also narrates how women are beautiful creatures which leaves them open to receiving gifts and other financial rewards from men who find their beauty alluring. Men on the other hand are left to provide for themselves all the times so when they reach a breaking point, they reach out to the public for help instead. Daniel Etim-Effiong states expressly that women hardly solve men’s issues so most men know not to ask them for help. Watch video here

Why female fans prefer married male celebs
Skales, a Nigerian rapper, has given reasons why female fans are more drawn to male celebrities than their single peers. He claimed that the way married men treat their partners makes single women yearn for things that they think only other people’s husbands can provide. Skales observed that after getting married, female fans were no longer able to restrain their obsessive behaviours towards male celebrities. In a conversation on Echo Room, the married singer asserted that most women like “bad boys” and don’t give a damn if a celebrity is married.

Photo source: Google The host asked: “I have noticed this about male celebrities, once they get married there is this notion that they are not as attractive or available as before and so most female fans tend to stop supporting them. What do you think?” Skales responded: “I think that is old school. There are a lot of married people that are doing great in the entertainment industry. I don’t think it’s about the marriage anymore. Now it’s about how the married celebrity is treating his woman. If he’s treating her well, ladies are going to appreciate him even more. “I believe females in a way like bad boys. And all the females I know are like bad boys. All the females that are my friends are very calm but they like bad things. A bad boy does not necessarily mean he’s stressing you out. Bad boy is a guy who gats game. I’m still a bad boy despite being married.”

“What effrontery” – Moment female corps member gives male student neck-twisting slap as he toasts her in school (Video)
A female Corps member was captured delivering a neck-twisting slap to a male student who approached her within the school premises and expressed his romantic feelings towards her. The incident occurred within the vicinity of an undisclosed school, where the female corps member was serving her mandatory NYSC assignment. In the video, the male student, donned in his school uniform, can be seen approaching the corper with an apparent intention to express his affection for her. Without warning, the female corps member reacted with physical violence, delivering a forceful slap to the boy’s face, causing his head to twist to one side.
