Nollywood actress Joke Silva has recently opened up about the marital struggle she and her husband, Olu Jacobs, have been facing as he battles with dementia. In a heartfelt interview with media personality and actress Nancy Isime, Silva discussed how the illness has affected their marriage.

Silva described her husband as an incredible father and an amazing husband who fulfilled his responsibilities without fail. She reminisced about their early years together, emphasizing that Jacobs was not only her best friend but also her everything in their marriage. However, the progression of his ailment has brought significant changes to their relationship.

Silva expressed, “It has not been easy… There was a point of acceptance for me that everything happening is reality and it is like the person I married, 80 percent of the time is no longer there.” “But the thing is this when he was there, he was an incredible father to his children and an amazing husband, he was practically my best friend.” Despite the challenges posed by Jacobs’ dementia, Silva continues to hold deep affection for him. Nollywood actor and social media commentator, Uche Maduagwu, has called out veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, over his silence on his son’s ongoing marital drama. In a recent video shared on social media, Maduagwu pleaded with Pete to talk to his son, Yul Edochie, about his behaviour.

Maduagwu’s plea comes after Yul reposted a video of his second wife, Judy’s childbirth testimonies, while still mourning the death of his first son, Kambi, with his first wife, May. Maduagwu believes that Pete’s silence on the matter is worrisome and gives the impression that he supports his son’s behaviour.

In the video captioned; “Dear Sir PETE, your continuous SILENCE on this matter is unbelievably Worrisome, talk to your Pikin”, Maduagwu urged Pete to intervene and address his son’s actions. Popular thespian, Toyin Abraham has finally broken her silence following rumours/reports about issues in her marriage to Kolawole Aijeyemi.
Recall that the faceless blogger, Gistlovers in a post had claimed that the actress’ husband opened up to his friend about some unacceptable behaviours portrayed by his wife which include avoiding her matrimonial home for days and her failure to take on responsibilities as a wife and mother.

Following this report, the actress’ management came up to debunked the news while stating that her marriage is very much intact.
Despite this, a concerned fan identified as @abolarintemita4 on Twitter boldly asked Toyin Abraham if things were good in her marriage, which triggered a response from her.
The fan wrote:
“I heard that you are having issues in your family…..I was so sad because I really love you and i dnt want anything to happen to you…”
Replying, Toyin affirmed that she is not having issues in her marriage and called for an end to the false claim.

“Pls stop! I am not having any issues in my marriage,” she asserted.
The fan went on to issue an explanation by stating that she wasn’t insinuating that there are issues in her marriage but only wanted to get her side of the story.

Desola Afod, wife of Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod, has played down the rumours about her marriage which were triggered by a faceless blogger, Gistlovers.
The blogger had alleged that her marriage is actually the shadow of itself, and that she is the one making it work at all cost.

Gistlovers had also claimed that her husband is an adulterous man who is fond of sleeping with his movie students.
It didn’t end at that, the blogger further alleged that Desola is fully aware of her husband’s misdeeds and that she is quiet because she snatched him (Kunle Afod) from her friend at a birthday party.
Gistlovers’ allegations read: “I never reach Kunle turn this one don dey throw shade wos wos wobi. Reacting, Desola Afod shared a loved up video with her husband in a bid to ridicule her critics.
In the video, she offered prayers for her haters while wishing them double of what they wish for her.
“May God give you double what you wish for me,” Desola said.
The celebrity wife also used the opportunity to make a lifetime promise to her man.
“I want a lifetime with you cos I’m better because of you. Thanks for being supportive Baba mi”.
