Amidst the rumour of his music career being cancelled by Nigerians, the controversial singer, Naira Marley shuts down an entire street in Lagos. It would be recalled that the singer was cancelled online after being arrested as a suspect in the death of one of his ex-signees, Mohbad.

In the video making rounds on social media, Naira Marley was seen in a street in Lagos with tons of crowd hailing and praising him. The video has since generated a wave of reactions as many mocked the fruitless outrage at the singer during his arrest and his release from prison.

Samklef slams Naira Marley for new song after Mohbad’s passing

Famous rapper, Naira Marley has come under fire from the music producer and blogger Samklef for releasing a new song while there are still unresolved issues surrounding Mohbad’s sad passing. It would be recalled that the Marlian Music boss had been detained by the police along with his friend, Sam Larry, for their alleged involvement in the passing of the singer, Mohbad. Samklef. Naira Marley demands public apology as he threatens to sue Iyabo Ojo for N500M in damages

Popular rapper, Afeez Fashola better known professionally as Naira Marley hits actress Iyabo Ojo with a N500M (five hundred million naira) lawsuit as he demands a public apology from her. In a letter to Iyabo, Naira Marley, through Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co., accused the actress’s Instagram account of being the source of malicious and inaccurate content.

According to the letter, Iyabo accused Naira Marley of having spiritual and physical dealings with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, in an Instagram post that was posted in September 2023, the month the singer died. Naira Marley’s attorney further asserted that the actress had accused his client of mentally torturing Mohbad.

An up-and-coming singer identified as Muri Pounds gets attacked and his car destroyed barely two days following his viral video singing exactly like the controversial singer, Naira Marley. Naira Marley, Sam Larry set free after meeting bail conditions

Controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and his business associate, Balogun Samson, known as Sam Larry, have both been released from prison following the fulfilment of their bail conditions. The confirmation came from the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Friday.

In a brief statement, Hundeyin stated, “Naira Marley and Sammy Larry, having met their bail conditions, have been released.” This announcement followed the duo’s fulfilment of the bail conditions set by a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court, where they were granted bail on Monday, November 6, with a sum of N20m and three responsible sureties. “As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department,” the court ruled. It is worth noting that the duo were remanded in prison as suspects in the ongoing case of the alleged murder of the ex-signee of Marlian Records, Aloba Imole, better known as Mohbad.
