Popular Nigerian musician, Divine Ikubor, popularly called Rema has addressed “demonic” mask allegations, calling it a remake of the bronzes of his ancestors. The young artist has been dragged after his show at the 02 arena in London where some fans accused him of being a member of the Illuminati. A well-informed fan from Benin City has defended Rema, claiming the mask was that of Queen Idia, a National hero of the Benin Kingdom. They revealed that the mask Rema wore on the show was inspired by Queen Idia, a hero in the Benin Kingdom. On X, formerly Twitter, an account with the handle Edocentric_ wrote: “Queen Idia Mask/REMA isn’t demonic; as a matter of fact, she is a national hero to Nigeria and the Benin Kingdom. Nigerian afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, has been captured on his way to Qatar for his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Recall that, on Thursday, it was announced by a Chinese businessman, Stephen Hung, that the singer confirmed he will be performing at the closing event scheduled for December 18, 2022.

He wrote:
“So happy my bro #davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
This will be the singer’s first stage performance since the unfortunate passing of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke on October 31, 2022.
