A few hours ago, the Nigerian police paraded three detained men supposedly the face behind the popular Instagram blog, Gistlover. According to reports, the police arrested these suspects while acting on a petition filed by Hon and Doctor Mrs. Seye Oladejo has detained three people in connection with a case of conspiracy, cyberstalking, and endangering one’s life. According to a statement issued by the Nigeria Police Force’s spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the accused is Adebukola Kolapo Nnedum. Micheal Somtomchukwu and Isaac Akpokighe are members of the Gistlover family, a syndicate responsible for the daily operation of the Gistlover blog, a microblogging platform known for “Cyberstalking, incitement, Blackmail, and sundry, which has over the years been a course for public outcry.” However, a few hours after the supposed arrest of Gistlover, the real face behind the blog has taken to his page to mock the Nigerian police for parading fake people are operators of his page.

Ace Nigerian rap artiste, Emeka Akumefule alias Blaqbonez has made jest of his colleagues after being labelled as the best Nigerian rapper by Ghanaian singer Amaarae. The Ghanaian songster made this known while fielding questions during a Q and A moment online. She told fans to ask her about anything from her career to personal life.

President Mohammadu Buhari’s aide, Bashir Ahmad has mocked the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi for insisting he will be the president of Nigeria. Reports earlier made the rounds of the politician expressing his optimism to secure the number one seat in the country.

In the interview, Mr Peter Obi had said that he knows for certain that he would be the president of Nigeria. “Anyone who thinks I am on a transit is wasting his time.
