Sensational singer, Davido recounts how he almost sold his billionaire father’s Rolls Royce to fund his music career. Speaking in the interview with ABtalks, he said that his father, Mr Adedeji Adeleke wasn’t willing to financially support his music career and he decided to break into his father’s Atlanta home in USA to sell several TVs.

He said that he had told his father that he wanted to move back to Nigeria, but he had refused. This then made him to take things into his own hands and look for a way to raise fund. He said that after selling off the TVs, he almost sold his father’s Rolls Royce as one of the ‘crazy means’ to raise money for his music ambition. OBO said; “So I blew up, remember I said that I told him I wanted to move back, but he disagreed. I ended up dropping out, he found out that I wasn’t in school for like a year. I broke into his house in Atlanta, sold all the TVs, old his furniture. Nigerian musical duo, Ajebo Hustlers have disclosed that some of their friends and family members advised them to quit music because they weren’t making a fortune from the profession years after they kicked off their musical career. According to the Port Harcourt-born singers, their struggle for stardom forced them to be accommodated by several family members and friends and at one point, they were housed by singer D’banj’s younger brother, K-Switch. The ‘Barawo’ crooners revealed this on the latest episode of Afrobeats podcast hosted by Shopsydoo. They said, “We squatted with K-Switch in 2016. I’m not playing. 2017 nothing was popping. It was 2018, we were still trying to push and then we made a record in 2019 with King Perry. I think we were squatting somewhere then. “That time we were squatting because music was not working and you now have friends that are telling you, omo, thus music is not working, you sure say you try enter street,” Ajebo Hustlers is a Nigerian Afrobeat and Highlife group comprising of Knowledge (Isaiah Precious) who is a rapper and Piego (George Dandeson) who fills in as the artist and snare ace. The two talented and creative singers experienced childhood in Old GRA, Port Harcourt, River State Nigeria and they both met in 2010 while working in an eatery together. According to a report by Boomplay, Piego put his first piece of work in 2014 just after the two collaborated to frame the name ‘Ajebo Hustlers’ in 2014 and accordingly delivered their first single titled “Bole And Fish”. Following the progress of “Bole And Fish” the team pulled in a joint effort with top performing artists like Kayswitch who was featured in their 2015  single “Buruku”. Ajebo Hustlers delivered their first group of work, an Extended Play project labelled “New School Oldies” in 2017, with appearances from Yung6ix, Soma, Terry Apala, Major Bankz. The team has drawn in the consideration of one of the most respected Nigerian Hip-Hop heads and YBNL chief, Olamide on their 2020 delivered single “Barawo”. I started hustling and meeting people. From there, I sorted myself out. “When I go to countries to perform, the presidency always reaches out. They ask if I want to go for dinner. I’ve been traveling even alone and unaccompanied since I was 13. I knew my way around the airport. “I work too hard. Everyone is sleeping and I’m up recording or mixing. We’re up editing videos.
