A Nigerian man has had his dream of becoming a citizen of another country actualized as he obtains Canadian citizenship, two years after vowing to ensure that his kids would have dual citizenship. In March 2021, the man, known as @_ThatCJ, took to social media to declare that he would ensure that his unborn kids have citizenship in another country other than his country of birth.

He had written … “For what it’s worth i must give my children dual citizenship. Even if it’s Madagascar I can afford, they’re better off as penguins!” Two years later, the man achieved his dream and returned to Twitter to give an update after securing Canadian citizenship.
