Internationally acclaimed Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, lit up the night as he performed at the post-inauguration reception of Abia Governor Alex Otti. The event took place following Gov. Otti’s official swearing-in ceremony, held at the Umuahia Township Stadium earlier in the day.

Continuing to enchant the gathering, Davido went on to perform “Assurance,” a heartfelt track originally dedicated to his wife, Chioma. Additionally, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi and HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who did not attend President Bola Tinubu’s swearing-in at the Eagle Square, were also present.
