"I never know this one" – Bus conductor refuses collecting new naira note, insists passenger must come down (Video)

A viral video captures the moment a Lagos bus conductor refused collecting the new naira note for fear of being cheated.
The lady who had boarded the commercial bus gave the bus conductor the recently redesigned naira notes which he rejected.

According to the man, he doesn’t recognize the money yet and can’t collect it; he insisted that the lady gives him the old one he knows or get off his van.
Other passengers on the bus had interceded and urged the conductor to collect the money as it is already in circulation.
At a point, he collected the cash from the lady to go consult with his other colleagues on the authenticity of the note.

Bolt driver narrates his embarrassing ordeal with female passenger

A bolt driver has shared his embarrassing experience with a female passenger whom he took on a ride to a guy’s house.
According to the bolt driver, the lady told him she’s scared about the visit because it was her first time visiting that particular guy.

She asked him to take her number and check up on her after some time, so he can alert her family if she stops taking calls.
However, when he got home and called her number, the same lady put the call on loud speaker and made her male friends mock him for calling his passenger on phone.

Read the bolt driver’s narration below,
“I am a Bolt driver. I carried a lady from Ikotun to Ikota Lekki and when we got there, she told me the boy she came to see, that she has never met him before and this is the first time. She said she is scared because of what is happening in our country nowadays.
I told her if her mind cannot carry it, she should go back home but she said, she will go in and i should please take her number and keep checking up on her and also look at the face of the guy well. If anything happen, i should alert the public. I said ok.
We waited for the guy, he came out, i saw him, i stylishly took his picture but it wasn’t clear. Some other guys came out of that house too to welcome the girl. I was scared for her but i left.
On getting home later that last night because everything happened around 6pm, I quickly called her to be sure she’s fine. This girl picked my call and immediately I introduced who is calling, she shouted at me “han han, are you mad, imagine a Bolt driver calling me, what effrontery.
When did that one start”. I didn’t hang up, i tried to explain that she was the one who told me to call her but she said “and so”. That me i want to toast her, that she will report me. She put it in loud speaker and all the boys in the room with loud music started shouting on me that i am mad, i am stupid for calling her, that i will lose my job over this.
That time, i was beside my wife when i called and i explained to her. Why will i want to call another lady when i am married. I will never watch out for any body again. If them like, let them carry all of them go. The girl can’t be up to 22. She insulted me very well. We Uber drivers see things.”

A South African guy recounted his encounter with two female passengers who were attempting to con their way into a free ride.

After learning that the ladies had no desire to pay for the journey, the guy identified on Twitter as @Phislash said that he took one of the ladies’ wigs.
The ladies convinced him somebody had ordered the car for them to go to a party, so he picked the ladies up late that night and drove the ladies to where they wanted to go,

When the finally arrived they said they needed to contact the person who had booked the car so he could come settle the car fare.
The bolt driver became suspicious that the ladies might not want to pay; one of the ladies had exited the car for over 10 mins without returning.
He queried the other lady but was getting to relevant reply so he decided to involve the police in the matter.
Lucky for the bolt driver, a police car was just cruising by at the very moment; stopping them, he explained the situation to them.

The policemen interrogated the lady who then opened up, saying she had no cash on her and she didn’t know who the other lady was.
The officers had asked the lady what she could offer in place of the fare, she said she had nothing; the driver had requested for her wig to cover up the cost.
The lady initially declined, saying that the cost was too much because she had bought it for R2, 500 which is N70k in naira.
The young cab driver wrote:
“Lord your female scammers request us (Bolt).
I drove all the way to Kempton Park from Pretoria delivering a pair of broke girls that think they can scam their way out of paying me.
Ended up taking their wig.”

Sxx workers vow not to offer services to taxi drivers for one week for abusing a female passenger

Sxx workers vow not to offer services to taxi drivers for one week for abusing a female passenger

The sxx workers of Kenya’s Mombasa county have united with other Kenyans to criticize acts of abuse perpetrated on a female passenger in Nairobi last Friday.

Approximately 16 people accused of mugging and sexually abusing a female ambassador on Forest Road have been held for 15 days to allow officers to conclude their investigations.
On March 4, the culprits were apprehended after a video clip of the victim being assaulted went viral. The assault is alleged to have been reported to the Parklands police station by the Zimbabwean ambassador.

In cooperation with the female passenger, Maryline Laini, chair lady of Nkoko Injuu Africa, a CBO that supports the rights of sxx workers, has declared that her members will not provide their services to motorists for a week.
In her words:
“These people are our clients, but from today, no registered sxx worker will offer sxxual services to any bodaboda rider in this region. If a member is found with a bodaboda client within the period, she will be deregistered”
Speaking to K24TV, Laini revealed that withholding their services is another way of fighting for justice.

She said:
“We know this is where we get our basic needs and fend for our families but we are ready to go hungry for this type of violence to come to an end”
