Famous rapper, Naira Marley has come under fire from the music producer and blogger Samklef for releasing a new song while there are still unresolved issues surrounding Mohbad’s sad passing. It would be recalled that the Marlian Music boss had been detained by the police along with his friend, Sam Larry, for their alleged involvement in the passing of the singer, Mohbad. Samklef. Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, better known as Oladips, passed away several hours after he begged fans and friends to pray for him. The rapper, pronounced dead by his management on November 14th, had posted on his media page before his death: “I Done Mean To Scare Nobody, But Dipsciples Please Pray For Me! I Don’t Feel Good.”

Mimi Orjiekwe mourns the passing of her father

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mimi Orjiekwe is grieved after the passing of her loving father, Ozo Dr Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe. Following a brief illness, her father passed away on November 4, 2023, surrounded by his family, according to a news release that she posted on her Instagram page.

The family claims that words cannot convey how deeply devastated they are after his demise or how much they will miss him. The post reads: “With gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing unto glory of our dearly beloved father, brother, husband, and uncle, Ozo Dr. Thomas Chukwuike Orjiekwe (OCHENDO) after a brief Illness. “He was surrounded in his last earthly hours by his loving family that fateful November 4, 2023, a day we shall never forget! Nollywood mourns passing of Sikiru Adeshina

The Nollywood industry is thrown in a mourning state as the veteran Yoruba actor, Mukaila Adedigba, also referred to as ‘Sikiru Adeshina’ passes on. The news was confirmed by renowned Nollywood actor and movie director, Kunle Iyiola Afod, on his Instagram page on Saturday.

According to Afod, the actor passed away in the early hours of May 13, 2023. He further described the deceased as a vast repository of Yoruba knowledge and a devout believer in God. Afod offered his prayers for the peaceful repose of the late actor’s soul. “Another library is burnt down today

Nollywood actor, Linc Edochie has released a statement following the death of his nephew, Kambilichukwu Edochie, the son of Yul Edochie.

In a video posted on his official Instagram account, Edochie expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their encouragement during this difficult time and inquired about the well-being of everyone. He also reflected on the past couple of days as being emotionally draining and traumatizing. Despite this, Edochie maintained a hopeful attitude and expressed his gratitude to God in accordance with biblical teachings. Notably, he made a profound statement that evil has an expiry date, which can be interpreted as a message of hope that negative events will come to an end eventually.

Keyamo called out for stealing photos from U.S festival and passing it off as those from APC presidential rally in Sokoto

Festus Keyamo, a senior lawyer and spokesman for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has been called out for circulating photos from a festival in the U.S state of Chicago,and passing it as supporters who trooped out for Bola Tinubu’s campaign rally in Sokoto on Thursday, February 9.

Keyamo, who is also Nigeria’s Minister of Labour, had shared the photos with the caption “More pictures from the mother of all rallies in Sokoto! The signs are all there for all to see! But they are playing! Make dem dey play!! In about a fortnight, the jungle will mature!!”

However, a quick Google reverse image search revealed that the photos were from a music festival which took place in Chicago in 2021. The photos went viral at the time for a massive violation of the COVID-19 protocols as many people gathered without protective measures at the peak of the pandemic. Rema expresses grief over the passing of Don Jazzy’s mum

Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, is deeply saddened by the passing of Don Jazzy’s mother.
Don Jazzy, a music entrepreneur and founder of Marvin Records, had informed Nigerians a few hours ago that he has lost his lovely mother to cancer.

Reacting, his ex-signee, Rema regretted the news as he mourns with a note on his Instastory.
The singer wrote: “Mama I’ll miss you.”

Don Jazzy’s announcement of his mum’s passing reads: “I lost my sweet mother this morning. The matriarch of our family. My supporter and backbone @indianpicolo.
“I am beyond devastated. I have never felt pain like this in my life but I am consoled by the good life she lived. She was loved by everyone that ever met her. She was so strong till the last minute for us even while she battled with cancer.
