Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O Kanayo speaks on how he doesn’t sanctify himself when he is playing movie roles that require entering a coffin, either for ritual or other purposes. The movie star has come to be associated with the roles he played in his movies and had been dubbed various monikers, notably, Nnayi Sacrifice.

Sharing a video of his interview with the Eastern Eye, he captioned that when a movie role requires him entering a coffin, he doesn’t sanctify himself or bind whatever forces; he just simply plays his roles and leave. He said: “God gave me a talent. When I’m playing a role in a movie that involves going into a coffin. I do not sanctify myself or start binding unseen forces. I just play my role and get out.” In the interview, he emphasized that his roles in ritual movies have nothing to do with his real-life character. Kanayo said: “I was on a set three weeks ago with a woman and she was asked to go into a coffin and before she went into the coffin, she went ‘In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit’ I said ‘don’t do that, you are mocking God. This is a job that puts food on your table. God has asked you to go and deliver his people through this so why are you praying?’” “The apostles of Jesus or disciples as you call them. Luke was a medical doctor, and the other person was a tax collector so they were from different fields, so this is what people do for a living. That is why filmmaking is called make-believe. It makes people believe you are a ritualist, you are an occultist, you are a Reverend Father, you are this. The role I play has nothing to do with me as KOK. I don’t go to church every Sunday but I know myself. “My role is what puts food on my table. when you call me Nna Anyi sacrifice, it brings traction to my name. When asked about her personal life and the possibility of double dating, Mummy Wa, who was previously in a relationship with her colleague Isbae U but experienced a breakup allegedly due to physical abuse, expressed her perspective. She said, “If it’s a friendship, it’s possible. But when it comes to romantic relationships, I don’t think it’s feasible. There will always be one person who is loved more than the other. “Personally, I cannot romantically love two people simultaneously. My mind will always be focused on one person, making it difficult for me to think about someone else.” Furthermore, the skit-maker shared her thoughts on the topic of men paying for transportation expenses on dates. She stated, “I don’t believe men should pay for a date’s transportation fare. It doesn’t make sense to me. However, there are some men who may not want the lady to experience any inconvenience. “They might choose to pay as an act of chivalry or if they believe the lady doesn’t have enough money and they want to assist. If the lady is stranded, the guy can offer to cover her transportation fare. Personally, though, I wouldn’t allow a guy to pay for my transport fare on a date.” 
It’s been expected that the 22-year-old who was signed from Benfica for £64m by Liverpool at the beginning of the season, will fill the void left by Sadio Mane. He has told me that I have to be calm in games when it comes to finishing. “He wants me to take a second longer, because if I shoot with anger, or I rush it, then it will always go badly. He asks me to take an extra second, with calmness, and I will score.” Nunez also added that he is adapting perfectly. He added; “It is a case of adapting. Adapting is important – and not only here at the club. Things have to be good on the football side, but also with your family, because if your family is OK, then you will always be OK. My family and I are good.”
