Popular socialite, Blessing CEO lands in police custody after a petition was reportedly filed against her for accusing Davido of owing IVD motors N4M. This was reported by a Twitter user known as Otunba who also shared a video of the relationship therapist being interrogated.

However, IVD motors denied the debt as he claimed that Davido later cleared off his bill and he had apologized to Blessing for failing to update her on that.

In a viral video on social media, a group of Nigerian police officers in a ‘Korope’ bus was seen engaging in a high-speed chase with a group of youths in a vehicle, reminiscent of scenes from action movies. The incident unfolded in an undisclosed place in Southwest Nigeria. The video footage depicts a car carrying three young men attempting to evade the pursuing police officers, who were armed and making use of a “korope” bus. The motorist seemed to believe that the police officers intended to assault them, prompting their effort to quickly enter a gated estate to find safety.

However, the police officers managed to catch up with the vehicle before it could reach the security gate. A dramatic moment from the video shows the security personnel disembarking from the korope bus and stopping the car just as it was about to enter the gated estate. As they halted the vehicle, one of the passengers can be heard asking the officers the reason for the dangerous chase and why they were being accosted in what was perceived as an unprofessional manner. Kwara police detain barber after girlfriend’s death during sex

The Kwara State Police Command has taken into custody a middle-aged barber after his girlfriend died on top of him during sex. The barber who was nabbed in the state capital of Ilorin was detained on Monday due to the death of a girl who was apparently having sex with him. The event occurred on Monday, at a guest home in the Temidire neighborhood in the Offa Garage neighborhood of the city. It was initially reported that the middle-aged guy, who is believed to run a barbershop, went for a relaxing evening with his girlfriend. An unconfirmed report from members of the community also alleged that the man was under the influence of drugs with the aim of impressing his girlfriend before the experience turned sour. The incident occurred during a trip from Ibadan to Ilorin, as she found herself seated with two individuals engaged in fraudulent activities. According to her narration on Twitter, the lady disclosed that during the journey, the police stopped the vehicle she was traveling in, and one of the yahoo boys seated next to her handed her his iPhone with an unusual request. He allegedly asked her to falsely claim ownership of his bag if questioned by the officers. Confused and frightened by the idea, she expressed concern that the bag might contain incriminating items. However, the fraudster assured her that the police would not inspect the bag. Despite her fear, she reluctantly agreed to the plan as she did not want to draw unnecessary attention. Upon being questioned by the police, both the young lady and the other passenger denied any association with the bag in question. The Lagos State Police Command said it has rescued a day-old baby dumped inside a sewage tank in the state. In a statement released by the police command, the baby was dumped around the Gowon estate area of the state. Posting photos of the baby on its Twitter handle, the command wrote; ‘’A day-old female baby was found in a sewage tank at about 8:30am today. Officers of Gowon Estate Division, upon being alerted, promptly arrived at the scene. The baby was taken for immediate medical attention at a health center and is doing well.‘’

In a similar news, the police also rescued a baby abandoned under a parked bus in the Mile 12 area of the state in June. A spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known on his verified Twitter handle @benhundeyin. He said the cry of the baby attracted a passer-by, who informed the police. “A Lagosian set out for work at about 4.30 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday) and heard the cry of a baby under a parked bus somewhere in Mile 12, Ketu. “Police officers from Ketu Division, after being alerted, have taken the healthy baby girl into safe custody,” he said.

Sodiq Oladebo, an admission seeker who was extorted by officers attached to the Osun State Police Command, has been refunded the N20,000 that was unlawfully taken from him. The incident, which occurred while Oladebo was traveling from Osun to Benin, Edo State, was brought to light by the victim himself, prompting swift action from the authorities. Following NigezieXtreme initial report on the extortion incident, Oladebo’s brother, Suleman, confirmed to The Punch that the full amount extorted had been returned. “They have refunded it just now. My brother just called me. I commend the Nigeria Police, especially the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, and the Osun State Command’s PRO for their efforts,” Suleman revealed. The Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, had previously urged Oladebo to reach out, assuring him that she had been actively working on the matter since becoming aware of it. In a tweet, Opalola stated her commitment to resolving the issue, urging the victim to contact her. She tweeted; “Since I heard about the extortion of the admission seeker by some policemen in Osun State, I have been working seriously on the matter and of course, I have made success. I want that victim to please call or chat with me.” Recounting the incident, Oladebo explained that while traveling along the Ilesa Expressway, their vehicle was stopped at a checkpoint by police officers. After searching their bags and finding nothing incriminating, the officers intimidated Oladebo and demanded a sum of N100,000 from him, threatening to take him to the police station if he failed to comply. Having only N99,000 in his Palm Pay application, which was intended to be used for purchasing an Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) form for university admission, Oladebo eventually transferred N20,000 to a Point-of-Sale operator, as demanded by the officers. With the refund of the extorted amount, Oladebo’s ordeal has reached a satisfactory conclusion.
