Asake whose attention was drawn to the incident, sent her 5 million naira, but a Nigerian has deemed it small. One netizen identified as Dr. Penking opined that the singer had made loads of cash from that song, and it is unfair that he would send her such a paltry sum. He wrote: “Asake used this woman’s audio “Epp Me. Epp me. E dey carry me go where I no know” in his hit song PBUY without any settlement . That song made over 500 million in streams . This woman got into some health issues, Asake sent only 5 million after intense dragging sef. Remember that same Asake bought a house of 136 million just 2 months ago. Nigerians are not good people.”

In a recent video that surfaced online, a policewoman was seen assisting the First Lady of Osun State, Titilayo Adeleke, in putting on her earring, sparking diverse reactions from Nigerians. The footage, which quickly went viral, depicted the policewoman performing a seemingly personal task for the First Lady, raising questions about the appropriateness of such actions. While some defended the act, suggesting a close and amicable relationship between the two, others strongly condemned it, asserting that a policewoman’s role should not extend to personal assistance, especially when funded by taxpayers.

Critics argue that public servants, including police personnel, should maintain a level of professionalism and focus on their primary duties rather than engaging in what they perceive as menial and non-official tasks. They emphasize that the policewoman, as a public servant, is being paid with taxpayers’ money and should prioritize her responsibilities in maintaining law and order. See below;

The suspect A resident of the area, who pleaded anonymity, said the suspect (Nwosu) had gone to live with the policewoman shortly after she became homeless and in dire need of accommodation following her divorce from her husband. “As soon as the husband divorced her, she confided in the policewoman who benevolently offered her accommodation in her apartment. “On that fateful day, she quarrelled with the policewoman which led to a fight. She hit the policewoman on the head with a pestle and she fell and became unconscious. “She quickly tied the policewoman and her two kids together with a rope inside their room and set them ablaze together with the building,” he said. It was gathered that the suspect was apprehended by local vigilante and some villagers who were attracted by the fire, while she was trying to escape. When the vigilante interrogated her, she initially denied the act, claiming it was a case of gas explosion while the deceased and her children were boiling water. Nwosu later confessed to the crime, attributing it to handiwork of the devil. “I did not know what came over me that made me commit the crime. I deserve to be shot dead for this wicked act against the person who helped me in my time of need,” she said. Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said that the suspect had been arrested and the bodies of the policewoman and her children deposited in the mortuary. Ikenga said that the case had been transferred to the State Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation and prosecution. He said, “Preliminary information reveals that the policewoman accommodated the suspect while she was searching for a house. “The two women had a disagreement which resulted in a fight before the suspect hit the woman police on her head with a pestle. “While she became unconscious, she tied her with her two kids and set them ablaze. The bodies of the victims have been recovered and deposited in the morgue. Further development shall be communicated,” Ikenga promised.

According to her, she’s been trying unsuccessfully to resign from the Police since last year but all her letters have never been approved. She revealed that following a recent meeting with her superior on May 24th, she had been detained. Her account reads: “I never saw this coming. I have never thought I’ll be put in detention without interrogation. All I did was try to resign. I have been trying to resign from the Police since last year but my letters were not approved. My boss had called me to show up yesterday 24th of may to meet the Deputy commissioner for an interview. I thought they were finally going to approve my resignation but the only words I heard was that I should be detained to be tried and dismissed. Due to the shock, I couldn’t say anything as the officer led me away. Later, I heard that I should have begged and cried but my lack of reaction worsened the matter. I cried a river after it all dawned on me. I have not taken my clothes and shoes off since yesterday. I can’t even change my sanitary pad. My migraine is throbbing at full speed and my head is about to Explode from exhaustion. My mother has called that she has been advised to come and plead that i will continue working. I have been working for 6 years and I think it is fair to let someone go and aid them to leave if they do not want to stay anymore.

I have been very easygoing since i was born, this is my first time in this kind of situation. I have always worked in the administrative department, in fact, the religious department of the Nigeria Police. I believe in pursuing everything with passion, i always remove myself whenever I think i am no longer giving full attention to a job or career. I don’t know how long I’ll be here for but I really need to sleep. If the women at the provost office had not given me some Paracetamol yesterday afternoon, I may not have survived until now. I don’t know how long I will be here for but I’ll appreciate a blanket with sanitary pad. The cold is about to snuff my life out. As I sit here through the night and the mosquitos hum in my ears. I keep talking to them to ask them why someone who could have stamped my letter and put me through on what to do will have me held down and humiliated instead. I can’t imagine what my mother will be going through now to hear that her daughter is being detained and she has to come to Ikeja to plead on her behalf. My mother has never had to worry over me before and she has to do it without my dad. I wonder what my dad would have thought if he were alive. He was such a calm person. He always knew what to say. I really want to go home. I don’t know who will read this. My phone will die soon. This is a cry for help. I want to go home. Find me please Fauzziyah Ebunoluwa Isiak.” I never saw this coming.
