According to a police statement, the rapper was spotted with drugs nodding off in a Bentley in Plantation at 3 a.m. Kodak Black was being held at the Broward County jail but was permitted to depart on Thursday night, according to NBC Miami.

Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, a South African rapper better known by his stage name AKA, has been shot dead in a drive-by shooting.

The incident occurred on Friday night on Florida Road in Durban, South Africa, according to police reports.
