A Nigerian man living abroad recounts how he used his Lagos smartness to recover his phone after a criminal snatched it from him on the streets of London. The man known on X as Slimfit revealed that he was making use of his phone when a man on a bike snatched it and taunted him. He said that his Nigerian instinct quickly kicked in and he pursued the bike man with all his might. The man revealed that he was getting close to the biker, who thought he wouldn’t pursue him, when he threw away the phone and rode faster. His tweet read: “A whole Lagos street boy like me… London boys nearly run me street this morning. While at the Bus stop checking my map to see when the next bus 🚌 will come, a guy on a bicycle 🚲 snatched my phone “Cheers mate”, and sped off. It’s today I know that I still have mad reflex. The way I ran after him on the main road ehn, even the cars had to stop… he thought he was sleek by not using the bicycle lane, thinking I would give up once he infiltrates the cars on the main road. The moment he realised I was very close to catching up with him and I was going to use my umbrella on his head, he dropped the phone on the road and zoomed off. Popular media personality, Toolz has revealed that it took her over a year before she could recover from her last break up.

Toolz heartbreak

The radio host said this while replying to a tweet which requested that men share how long it takes them to recover after they have had their hearts broken. Toolz, whose given name is Tolu Oniru, said that it had taken her more than a year before she could recover from the pains and sorrows of a broken heart. She said that her breakfast (a colloquial word for heartbreak) had been a five dish premium breakfast. Toolz wrote: “Took me over a year to heal from my worst heartbreak…don’t even remember much from that period, just that everything dark. I’m not being dramatic, I was served a 5 dish premium breakfast. Is it the same for guys? Or do you guys just hold in your feelings, and decide to spread terror and wickedness to womankind globally??”

Ghana police recover Meek Mill's stolen phone, arrest suspect

Ghana police have recovered the phone of famous American rap artist, Meek Mill after it was stolen in the country.

The rapper who is currently in the country for his Afronation concert had earlier cried out about his stolen phone, soliciting for it’s return.
Hours after the incident, the Ghana police released a statement revealing that they had nabbed the culprit, Nuhu Sule, and that the artist’s phone was also recovered.

It was reported that the culprit was caught at his hideout in Accra, Ghana.
The report read:
“The police have arrested one suspect and retrieved a mobile phone that was stolen from Meek Mill, an American hip-hop artist,” the statement reads.
“The suspect Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa was arrested Friday, December 30, 2022 at his hideout in Accra.
“He is currently in police custody and will be taken through the due process of the law.
The victim, Meek Mill, reported his phone stolen in Accra on December 29, 2022.”
