Messi escapes frightening car accident after jumping red light

Football icon and new Inter Miami signing Lionel Messi was nearly involved in a car accident as his vehicle jumped a red light and ran into moving traffic in the U.S. city. The incident occurred while the Argentine footballer was driving through Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday, July 14. For starters, a fan distracted him by approaching the moving car at the intersection. He had a police escort in front and behind him with the siren on, so he likely has a license to run red lights. The incoming driver should have noticed the cop car and maneuvered accordingly. Fortunately, nobody was hurt, as both Messi and the other driver managed to slow down before anything else happened. TyC Sports broadcasted the video showing Messi leaving the Inter Miami training facilities aboard a luxurious white SUV.

Miami is scheduled to unveil Messi on Sunday, July 16, with the player reportedly set to make his debut on July 21 against Cruz Azul in The Leagues Cup. Messi has been getting more accustomed to the Miami area since landing in the United States, and it’s likely he and his entourage will pay more attention to the traffic lights in the future. On Thursday, July 13, he was seen with his children at a Publix grocery store in South Beach with a variety of goods in the cart. You haven’t posted the full video. Before this clip a fan was approaching messi’s car to take a pic. He obviously didn’t see the red light as he was probably distracted by than fan. "Using an Android phone is a red flag" - Podcaster reveals, gives reasons

A female podcaster recently expressed her perspective on individuals who still use Android phones, sharing that she personally would not envision being in a relationship with someone who owns one, considering it a red flag. She went on to elaborate on her viewpoint, suggesting that many others share the same sentiment. In her own words:

Female Podcaster reveals using an Android phone is a red flag “But if you have an Andriod phone, red flag. A red flag immediately. Android phone… Do you have an Android? That’s a common thing, a lot of people say that. Something about Android phones just throws me off” Upon hearing her stance, a colleague who was present during the podcast responded by suggesting that she sounded immature for considering the possibility of ending a relationship with someone she deeply loves simply because they use an Android phone. Reacting to this, bi_bi_bee commented: “Stray bullet don hit android phone users😂😂 no wahala” amaka.maya stated: “The irony is the real odogwus are the ones using the latest samsung phones, you see these small small boys with iPhone 14, sis forget them, look at for those ones with the Samsung folds, those are the actual odogwus. In the footage the referee was shown before making the red card decision, a clip of Duro grabbing Real Madrid player around the neck with his arm was omitted. Xavi who initially offered his support to Vinicius over the racial abuse he suffered, said last night that the red card decision should have stood after the altercation with Hugo Duro. He said; “I don’t know if overturning Vinicius Junior’s red card is fair. My thoughts are that racism should be condemned. There was aggression there so I am surprised that they rescinded the red card.” Xavi had previously said the game should have been stopped after the abuse. He who spoke at a press conference days ago said; “Yes, matches should be stopped. It is the only profession in which insults are accepted. I don’t see any baker or teacher being insulted at work. All this has to be stopped. Try insulting a building worker. I’m sure a brick will fall on your head. “It doesn’t matter what shirt you wear. Vinicius is a person before he is a footballer. We have to defend the football professional. I don’t understand as a person, as a citizen, that you have to put up with insults. You don’t have to go to a football stadium to insult. If I go to the theatre and I don’t like the play, I leave, but I don’t insult. “We have to condemn that and educate people. We are in an environment where we are insulted and called names. It is very difficult not to bounce back. We don’t have an educated environment in the world of football.”

Recall that La Liga President Javier Tebas ignited a worldwide outrage after suggesting that Vinicius has not done enough to wade off racism. Shortly after handing out a €45,000 (£39,000/$48,000) fine against Valencia over the racial abuse and ordering a partial closure of the club’s stadium, the RFEF rescinded the Real Madrid star’s red card. Duro who is a Spaniard received no punishment as the on-field referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea was not shown the events which led to the Brazil international’s reaction. Vinicius was set to receive a ban that would see him miss the rest of the season but he will now be available for selection again after the decision was overturned. The VAR official on the day of the incident, Ignacio Iglesias Villanueva, has also been stood down for the time being. The RFEF has also launched a campaign under the slogan ‘Racists, out of football’, which aims to eradicate racist and xenophobic attitudes from football by raising awareness among fans that discriminatory insults or attitudes will not be tolerated.

Vinicius Junior brands La Liga a ‘racist’ league after red card

Real Madrid forward, Vinicius Jr has called La Liga over its alleged racist antecedents after he was shown a red card for slapping Hugo Duro, despite being at the receiving end of racial slurs and being grabbed on the neck by the Valencia star. The match at Valencia’s Mestalla ground was paused on Sunday night after the half-time break as the 22-year-old pointed out the supporters who were taunting him to the referee.

Vinicius, who has been racially abused from the stands several times this season, was clearly incensed, prompting teammates and opposition players to try to calm him down. The Brazilian was later sent off for violent conduct in added time of his side’s 1-0 defeat following an altercation with Valencia striker Hugo Duro, the first red card of his career. Shortly after the match was concluded, Vinicius referenced the previous instances of racist abuse and accused La Liga authorities of not doing enough. He wrote on Instagram;

“It wasn’t the first time, not the second and not the third. Racism is normal in La Liga. The competition thinks it’s normal, so does the Federation and the opponents encourage it. I am so sorry. “The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano (Ronaldo) and (Lionel) Messi, today belongs to the racists. A beautiful nation, which welcomed me and I love, but which accepted to export the image to the world from a racist country. “Sorry for the Spaniards who do not agree, but today, in Brazil, Spain is known as a country of racists. And unfortunately with everything that happens on a weekly basis, I have no way to defend. I agree. But I’m strong and will go to the end against the racists. Even though it’s far from here.” La Liga president Javier Tebas responded to Vinicius Jr’s comments by asking him not to be manipulated to insult La Liga. Tebas wrote; “Since those who should not explain to you what it is and what it can do @LaLiga in cases of racism, we have tried to explain it to you, but you have not shown up for either of the two agreed dates that you requested yourself. Before criticizing and insulting @LaLiga, it is necessary that you inform yourself properly @Vinijr. Do not let yourself be manipulated and make sure you fully understand each other’s competencies and the work we have been doing together.” Reacting to this, Vinicius accused Tebas of attacking him instead of criticizing racism. He wrote; “Once again, instead of criticizing racists, the president of LaLiga appears on social media to attack me. As much as you talk and pretend not to read, the image of your championship is shaken. See the responses to your posts and have a surprise… Omitting yourself only makes you equal to racists. I’m not your friend to talk about racism. I want actions and punishments. Hashtag doesn’t move me.”

Vinicius Junior gets his first red card for slapping Hugo Duro

Real Madrid star, Vinicius Junior was shown his first La Liga red card for slapping Valencia star, Hugo Duro during a match last night. It began with Vinicius on the ball, dribbling down Real Madrid’s left side, when a second ball was thrown onto the pitch from the crowd. Valencia defender Eray Comert went to kick that ball off, and whether intentionally or not did so straight at Vinicius, striking the other ball at the forward’s feet. The result was a yellow card for Comert and a free kick for Madrid, but it didn’t end there. After long discussions with teammates and referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, who asked if Vinicius wanted play to be suspended, the game continued, with the crowd being warned over the stadium megaphone about racist abuse. Later, in time added on, a mass brawl in the Valencia box ended with Vinicius being sent off following a red card for slapping Valencia’s Hugo Duro. There was then a further confrontation with the Valencia bench on Vinicius’ way off the pitch.
