Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba ignites mixed reactions online as he is set to release a tribute album for his late son while opening up on the motive behind the music. The talented musician, Mohbad died on the 12th of September 2023 under mysterious circumstances which had attracted media attention and that of the public.

It was revealed that the song is a tribute to honor the memory of his late son whose death had caused a national frenzy. The song entitled “Itunu”, is a tribute to Mohbad and the album is produced by Latsoul Films International.

Street Hip-Hop artiste, Portable Omolalomi calls out a show promoter for refusing to release his song with Shatta Wale despite having an accident with his G-Wagon SUV on that particular day. During a recent live session on Instagram, the Zazu crooner called out a promoter identified as Bankulli whom he met through the controversial socialite, Abu Abel.

According to Portable, he was on his way to have the song featuring Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale recorded on the day he crashed his G-Wagon and despite his car loss, the song was not released. Expressing his frustration, Portable accused the music industry of being jealous of his greatness, particularly after his recent music verse with the UK rapper, Skepta. “Why is it that the people I have done hit music with always refuse to release my songs? Is it because I outshined them? Abu Abel asked me to meet Bankulli, I had an accident with my G-Wagon and still managed to be there to record the song. OAU students storm EFCC office, protest release of fellow students

Some OAU students have taken matters into their hands, boarding buses to EFCC office to protest the release of their colleagues arrested by the EFCC. Today, EFCC officials went on a raid in some off-campus hostels in the University, arresting over 60 students without any search warrant. The EFCC has confirmed this on their website today, claiming that the arrest was based on intelligence and they have retrieved 9 exotic cars alongside 190 mobile phones. OAU students at the EFCC office protesting. This enraged the University students who believe the law enforcement agency did not follow due process and have violated their human rights. Although the OAU students were blocked by gun carrying EFCC officials at the entrance who kept telling them to shift back, the students remained adamant, protesting the release of their fellow colleagues.
